"We had a wonderful dining experience at this charming restaurant. The food was exceptional, and the cozy atmosphere made our meal even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to an inviting ambiance. We opted for the three-course menu; my partner chose the beef as his main dish, while I went with the seafood. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend trying this new restaurant—you won’t be disappointed! We can’t wait to return and explore more items on the menu."

"We were staying at St Davids Park Hotel for the weekend, to which, we had a wonderful stay. A local in the hotel bar, recommended the Glynne Arms for food and so we headed to the Glynne Arms, where we had a lovely bite to eat. On our walk back to the hotel, we popped into the Crown and Liver for a drink and wish we had never of even bothered. The service at the bar was abysmal and kind of embarrassing/awkward! The place overall looked tired and dirty. The toilets were dirty and the toilet roll had run out. The whole place seemed to be full of drunks and it wasn't even late on. It was really noisy, for the time of day. A middle aged lady with long blonde hair, I would place in her fifties, who was serving behind the bar, was dressed in fancy dress, which I must add, was most inappropriate for her age, showing way, way too much cleavage, with another younger lady, with long dark brown hair, who was much the same. It wasn't attractive at all. There were young children in the pub at the time. This is certainly not the attire for any pub, which is welcoming small children. For the Management to allow this, it is rather distasteful. We will most definitely, be skipping this pub on our return next year and will head straight to the Glynne Arms and will perhaps try the Fox and Grapes pub too."

"Having previously enjoyed 2 family meals at the Fox and Grapes earlier this year I hate to leave a negative review. However, on this visit the food was the worst I have been served in a very long time. My son booked a table at the Fox and Grapes over the phone, when we arrived there was no record of our booking, however we were shown to a table. The table was located by a window which was rusty and there was water all over the window sill. It felt cold and damp. It was at least 30 minutes, and after a reminder, that someone came to take our drinks order. We knew that there was a large party in the pub and so accepted this delay. Having waited so long we placed our food order at the same time. I ordered fish and chips having seen another guest eating what looked like a nice meal. When mine eventually arrived it was cooked to a crisp the batter was chewy and the fish tough. Two of our party ordered the Steak and Landlord Pie, this proved to be a small portion of pie with uncooked pastry and only 3 small pieces of meat. My grandson ordered a chicken burger again this was overcooked and he could only eat the edges as the middle was tough. Lastly my husband had the beefburger which he described as gritty! The service, which had previously been a highlight of our visits, was also poor. When paying the £95 bill I did highlight that I was not happy with the standards. The very nice lady behind the bar apologised but no discount was offered, not that it would have helped as the food was so bad, I very much doubt we will return. The next day we had excellent food and service at the the Hawarden Farm Shop."

"As regular patrons of this restaurant, we were appalled by the behavior we witnessed tonight. The restaurant was not very busy, with only two young women at a table, one of whom was dressed inappropriately. One of the women was taking photos of herself in the buffet area, leaning over the food and even lying on the floor to take pictures of her backside. Their language was offensive, and other customers were uncomfortable, with one even having to remove their child from the area. Despite complaints to the waitstaff and manager, no action was taken. The women even entered the kitchen without permission to take more photos. This breach of hygiene protocol was concerning, and it seems that the restaurant prioritizes takeout orders over in-house customers. Although the food was excellent, the experience was ruined by the inappropriate behavior of the patrons and the lack of response from the management."
