We stopped by this restaurant to have a typical German lunch. Large choice of meals and very good portions. We highly recommend it! Service was fast and very polite

Myself and girlfriend had just arrived in the city, hungry and thirsty and after being greeted with a small cold beer quickly we ordered the bratwurst and potatoes... it was gorgeous. Nice place and location for a lunch/dinner in nice weather.

Nicely situated on the main square and very popular. We had two pork schnitzels one with pepper sauce and one with mushroom. It isn't gourmet food but it's efficient and filling. We also had apple strudels and found the pastry a little soggy. The beer keeps coming in 0.2 litre glasses until you say stop.

Typisches Kölsch kommt zügig, allerdings arbeitet das Personal ebenfalls sehr zügig. Kölsch wird gebracht und Kellnerin rennt davon. Beim bestellen sollte man sich beeilen, sonst rennt sie ebenfalls wieder davon. Essen war in Ordnung. Die Lage ist sehr schön und die Einrichtung inkl tollen Keller sehr urig und Brauhausmässig! Ich hab das Zims in letzter Zeit zweimal mit einer Gruppe besucht und wir waren beide mal zufrieden. Das Kölsch schmeckt lecker und auch das Essen war sehr gut. Ehrliche Brauhausküche. Der Service war auch freundlich und schnell. Das einzige Manko ist der mittlerweile in der Innenstadt genommene Preis für ein 0,2 Liter Kölsch von 1,80 Euro. Das ist dann wohl aber der Aufschlag für die Lage.

we visited on a Saturday early evening. they city was busy and with it being a sunny hot day the terrace was full but luckily we managed to get a spot. our waiter was a lovely young lady. unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was very friendly and funny she enjoyed her job and that showed in her customer service. I ordered a pork knuckle with mashed potato and gravy. WOW it was amazing. way too big and filling but delicious and could not leave any. highly recommend trying this dish. if not so hungry I would say share between two as it really is big. my partner had the half roast chicken and she loved it although this dish wasn't very well presented unlike all others.my cousin had the b...
