Gasthof Zur Traube - Carte

It was all good. Waiter seemed a bit suspicious at first, but was actually quite a funny guy. Schnitzel was perfect and the view to the mountains as well.

Excellent Austrian food. We ate here two evenings in a row and everything was really delicious. They use good products and everything is made really well. Highly recommend this place.

If you are looking for reasonably priced good Austrian food, this is the place to go especially if you are staying in Pettneu. Open all year round even when all the other hotels and restaurants are closed. Voir le carte

This traditional gasthof offered much as we surveyed the seemingly local specialities on the menu, but the actual food did not live up to expectations. Lamb goulash turned out to be small pieces of meat just recognisable as lamb covered in an oxo cube style sauce with tinned vegetables stirred in. A rip off at 16 euro. Not recommended.

We visited Zur Traube for dinner when staying nearby wanting to enjoy a traditional meal in an authentic Gasthof. This restaurant attracts locals and visitors, there is smoking in some areas but didn’t cause us any issue. The menu offered a wide range so deciding took us some time, we enjoyed drinks, Soup (GrauKasse was perfect for a cheese lover), Schnitzel and Sausage and Strudels with coffee all for approx £55. So excellent value. Service was friendly, and we had a great meal.

We visited the gasthof zur Traube with a party of five after having read the great Tripadvisor reviews it has earned. All in all were we satisified with the food as such, but rather dissappointed with the portions and more importantly the long waiting times... We were placed in the cellar due to the numerous guests and felt somewhat forgotten down there. Some orders such as the water were more or less forgotten and arrived about an hour to late, making the entire experience rather "ok" than great... Voir le carte

We are a party of 6 adults who have visited St Anton for the past 10 years. We have just discovered this wonderful restaurant/guest house and will be returning. From the warm welcome, the hilarious choosing from the menu with hand signs from the staff to help us know what we might eat, through to the very tasty food we can't recommend enough. And so much better value than in St Anton. The starter of snails on toast, main courses as varied as sea trout, lamb, beef stew and venison steak, topped off with must have apricot dumplings. Exceptional!

Travelled for a ski holiday with my husband and 2 sons. Located in lovely little village 10 mins drive from St Anton. Family run and very friendly and efficient owners. We had the 3 bed apartment which was ideal for us with a small lounge and separate shower room and spacious bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and once they knew my son liked raspberries went out of their way to make sure there were always plenty for him. Evening meals were tasty and varied and the room was tidied every day. Very warm and cosy with amazing views of the mountain from our balcony. Would definately return and highly recommend.

Our favourite restaurant in Pettneu! OK, I admit it was the only one we visited in Pettneu, because we enjoyed it so much the first time, we had to go back. The menu was varied, and included excellent dishes including venison ragout. The kitchen was accommodating for special requests such as a side of steamed vegetables.Service was friendly and excellent, but was slow on the busy weekend night we were there. No problem if you are relaxing after a ski day.We found the food and wine to be very good value, but admittedly we were comparing to Switzerland prices where we had previously been.If we return to visit Pettneu, this restaurant is the first place we will stop for dinner.
