"Magnificent hostage in an almost fairytale setting right on Lake Starnberger. Here it looks phenomenal in every weather. The original decor and atmosphere in the room is really great. The food is also priced for the situation definitely ok and the quality is very good. Both the soup and the carving have tasted excellent. In particular, I would like to highlight the steam noodles that are served there, which was actually the best steam noodle of my life I have eaten until then! Unfortunately, you never get to taste anything but what I heard from the rest of the present, the other dishes have also tasted excellent. We were there at tenth and got a very nice separated room with view to the lake, the service was also very nice. I can really make a clear recommendation for anyone coming here in the area!"

"If you don’t like serving people, you shouldn’t be serving people. I arrived @11:45. I was told the place opens @noon. My petition whether I could sit on the terrace and start looking at the menu was rejected. When I ordered, I asked if the fish could be accompanied with veggies instead of potatoes. I was told I could have asparagus for an additional charge of €8 euro. I refused the offer. I was offered bread instead. That was charged with €2 euro on the bill without notifying me. All in all, I wouldn’t return in spite of the nice spot next to the lake. Only the waitress who allegedly started two days prior saved the day. She tried to help and stood out from the overall atmosphere in the place. I attach the ‘information’ I received with payment. €27 for grilled fish, two slices bread and a beer…"

"Compared to our last visit, the Altwirt has won charm and original character. Really great high quality room work. The beautiful pictures of the ox race fit in. Always funny to see the boss on the ox on it : . The sanitary facilities are amazing! The menu is Mega, also funny for us Austrians, there are in Bavaria and Kriagst a Steis (Vanilleeis with pumpkin. Very good choice, praise for the kitchen, the food was really mega. Meat top quality, but how should it be different if boss is also butcher! The place is always well visited, a reservation is worth it. The service is very dedicated, friendly and accommodating! Take off the hax for the guests!!"
