We were so ready for refreshment when we arrived here after a steep uphill walk from Dorf Tirol! After the wonderful coffee and apple strudel served with ice cream and a few minutes enjoying the fabulous views over merano we resumed our walk and can't wait to return. Voir le carte

During our last night at Meraner Höhenweg roundtrip we stayed here in the Talbauer Gasthof . This is a fine example of very good quality on every level (welcome, service, food, sleeping conditions and shower). Everything was flawless and very tidy. In addition to this you get a stunning view on the valley of Meran. Highly recommended.

Il maso è situato sul ripido fianco della montagna, come appollaiato a controllare la valle dell'Adige e Merano, che sovrasta. La vista è mozzafiato! I piatti serviti al ristorante sono tutti della tradizione Altoatesina, in particolare i piatti di carne sono degli animali allevati in casa. Ottime tutte le portate, dolci compresi. Un locale in cui tornerò sicuramente.

We biked up from Meran (passing Tirol along the way), and were rewarded not only with a gorgeous view of the valley and Meran from high above, but also delicious fresh salads and all other fare from the restaurant's own garden, which is nestled in the very steep mountain side. We felt right at home in the warm and welcoming eating room. Only did one-day trip, but plan into staying there overnight the next time. They have a few cozy rooms. Voir le carte
