"Unfortunately disappointed. I reserved, every table was nicely covered except us. Cleanliness is unfortunately so lala spider weaving on the lamps, on the chair crumbs. Portions small for the price. I had pork medals that were unfortunately completely dead, which is not so big at medallions. Plates were not decorated. I expected more from the restaurant. It is not worth 98 euros for two people. Too bad, but we're not coming back."

"A very nice, cozy, bright guest room, lovingly furnished, with great accents. Friendly services. Most dishes we have eaten so far were delicious. Only the garlic bread is disappointed. I didn't think so. Was personally much too dry and partly burned. Small note: Please do not add tomato sections (front and back) in salads. Once had a salad ONLY with sections (delivery home). Then SO no longer occurred. All right."

"Wir waren zu viert dort und es war ein totaler Reinfall! Zwei von uns haben ein Steak bestellt, einmal medium bis englisch und einmal englisch. einer hat eine Grillpfanne bestellt und der vierte hat ein Cordon bleu - jedoch nicht wie das normale, sondern mit Senf-Gurken-Füllung bestellt, mit dem Hinweis, dass es bitte kein normales Cordon bleu werden soll, da der Person dieses nicht schmeckt. Zuerst kamen die beiden Steaks. Als das "englische" aufgeschnitten wurde, war dieses medium bis durch, als das "medium bis englisch" aufgeschnitten wurde, war dieses durch. Nachdem wir die Bedienung darauf aufmerksam gemacht haben, sprach diese mit der Chefin, die ebenfalls draußen im Biergarten saß. Diese motzte uns an, wir sollen ihr gleich sagen, wie wir unser Fleisch wollen, da sie sonst wieder so viel Geld "in die Tonne kloppen kann" - was an medium bis englisch und englisch nicht deutlich zu verstehen war, kann ich nicht ganz nachvollziehen, aber gut.Als das Rindfleisch zurück gegeben wurde, kam dann das Cordon bleu. Als die Person die dieses essen wollte dieses aufschnitt, war es - kaum zu glauben aber wahr - ein stinknormales Cordon bleu. Nachdem sie mit dem Teller reinging zur Bedienung und es reklamieren wollte mit der Aussage "das tut mir jetzt wirklich leid, aber mein Essen ist auch falsch", riss ihr die Bedienung der Teller aus der Hand und schnauzte sie mit "jetz' is a schon Wurst" an. In der Zwischenzeit kam dann die Grillplatte, welche - Gott sei Dank - gepasst hat. Nachdem uns das neue Steak gebracht wurde, mussten wir wieder feststellen, dass beide nur medium waren. Wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr aufsuchen. Ein kleiner Tipp am Rande: wenn man kein Rindfleisch zubereiten kann, sollte man dieses vielleicht nicht anbieten. Ferner sollte man vielleicht etwas netter mit seinen Gästen umgehen, wenn man schon das falsche Essen bringt, das liegt dann am Lokal und nicht an den Gästen. Man zahlt schließlich auch dafür!"

The Valentinsbad is located north of Regenstauf on the road to Nittenau. It is really idyllic in a very natural river landscape. Nevertheless, the plant is very well maintained. There are toilets, showers, changing rooms, a children's playground and a beach volleyball court. Here is a very good access for StandUpPaddeling. Barbecues and tents are not allowed. A restaurant that also bears the name “Valentinsbad” is located next to it. The flow rate of the river (usually with the exception of floods) is so low that even less practiced swimmers can handle it. A small artificial sandy beach was created for easy access to the water. There are also tracks with ladders. The water quality is very good and remains in late summer when many bathing lakes complain about an algae plague."
