Another Offenbach establishment on the square. Regrettfully don't recall entree I selected but an enjoyable evening on the village square

excellent German cuisine with selected regional ingredients. it is a small restaurant with very nice interieur and good service. in any case a recommendation.

Excellent Schnitzel in different varieties, at a reasonable price. Service good and prompt. A very interesting wine list of mainly German white wine. Worth a visit

Popped in here for Sunday lunch and were lucky to get the one table for that was still free. Very friendly and superb local food at a very reasonable price. I want more!! Great.

Ate here with two colleagues. When you travel as much as I do, there are times when the thought of finding somewhere half decent to eat in the latest destination is really tedious . Occasionally you will stumble upon a complete Gem. This is a...small dining room with a comprehensive local menu which caused a fair bit of debate as lots of the choices sounded great. I plumped for the Pork Jaeger Schnitzel with Sauté potato’s and mushrooms and a pint of the local beer. Everything was epic food, service and price. The stand out ? The mushrooms , absolutely delicious. Will book a hotel closer next time I’m in Offenbach as I am hurrying back.

It was more or less by chance that we ended up in Offenbach on Wilhelmsplatz. The restaurant has a fairly large terrace in summer. The decor is rather rustic, the service is very friendly and competent. The menu offers a lot of choice, and children are also catered for. From hearty to sweet, for small or large appetites. I would also like to highlight the beer selection. The wine list also offers something suitable for every taste. We enjoyed a very nice evening here. I need to begin this review by explaining why I need to call the Gasthaus zum Stern a hidden gem, when it is located on Offenbach's Wilhelmsplatz, which is widely known for its many good restaurants. Of all the Wilhelmsplatz places, it has the smallest...sign in the least obvious colours, the least obvious door, and least amount of sidewalk space occupied by tables, chairs, and smoking patrons. It may also be smaller than the other restaurants around the square. In fact, when I made the reservation, I was not even quite sure where on Wilhelmsplatz it was, despite walking past the square almost every day.
