"I only spent one night in Stuttgart at Le Meridien Hotel, and I wanted to go somewhere for dinner that felt 'authentic'. Zum Becher was exactly what I was looking for. The décor Is a bit dated but also very clean - most importantly, it was exactly right for the restaurant and created great ambiance. The food is traditional and the dish I ordered was outstanding. The menu is very reasonably priced. The staff was excellent. I don't speak any German, and I don't think my server spoke any English, but it wasn't a problem. Super friendly and welcoming, I felt right at home. I REALLY liked this place and would recommend it to anyone else. I'll certainly go back there the next time I am in Stuttgart."

Beer garden and inside it is simply beautiful and atmospheric. Operation is a dream, rarely so much tip left; Food was the hammer, from sour roast to (veggie burger). Mega tasty! We'll be back!

Authentic German gasthaus featuring Schwabian fare. Menu includes English translation for the linguistically challenged. Sauerbraten and homemade spatzle were true to form, service with a nice side salad, and paired well with local red wine (Wurttemburg Lemberger - light, but dry and pleasantly tannic).

This restaurant has been on my sample list for a long time. Last week I finally made it and it won't have been the last time. Friendly service, cozy courtyard, very relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. We had the daily recommendation Wiener Schnitzel von Kalb with roast potatoes and potato salad. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Thank you very much.

With a tip from friends, we came to the somewhat hidden restaurant behind the state gallery (is probably still a secret tip . Often passed but never perceived... now we have arrived. Conclusion: Wonderful place with a great garden (both with one of the most beautiful beer gardens of Stuttgart small but a place for feeling well in the middle of the city with many plants, a beautiful small fountain and in the evening with a pleasant light concept a very good and groundy sponge food (there is also beer garden Burger and an excellent accommodating and not intrusive service. There is just everything right here (price/performance. We will stop here more often;
