"Not the greatest, very disappointed with award winning pie which was definitely not cooked long enough, ended up with stomach cramps, then violently sick a few hours later which was no coincidence and certainly not fun to try to deal with. Expensive for food and drink also, never again! Looking at the negative business reviews, I can see that when the business owner receives one they instantly blame the reviewer (see reply by owner to this review also) but maybe the owner would get on better with current, previous and even future customers if they didn 't do this and instead just put their hands up and apologised, lucky I did not contact environmental health. Remember the number 1 rule of running a business the customer is always right . Will definitely pop in and visit your business at some point to sort out this matter directly with yourself as your food made me very ill. Will be telling as many family members, work colleagues and my large group of friends to stay clear of your business due to your attitude as the business owner alone. With your very bad attitude, simply shocked to say the least. I live nearby in Monifieth so plenty local people to tell, some of which I know visit your business occasionally if plenty money. Thank you very much for your kind words."

"Hate to say it but the food is diabolical I specifically asked if the roast potatoes are real and not frozen the waitress lied to my face frozen rock hard roast potatoes dry meat. Fajitas I needed to drink after every mouthful as they were so dry noodles all Stuck together with cold sweet chilli sauce from a bottle thrown all on top. Oh and the fudge cake was also shop brought literally nothing we had was home madeNot usually a complainer but for what we paid this was awful the waitresses were only young so not their fault but we had our desert brought to us while there was dinner plates still on the table. It was all just a shambles to be honest."

"Superb. Went here for lunch with family as we are up visiting from Devon. We chose here because of the excellent reviews. We weren't disappointed! The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was amazing! So tasty, healthy size portions and well presented. The cheesecake desserts were big enough to share and so delicious. Lots to choose from. And to top it off the bill was pleasantly surprising. Definately recommend going here. But may be worth booking a table. A fantastic find!"

"My recent experience with Chillies Carnoustie was far from satisfactory. I eagerly awaited my takeaway, only to be met with disappointment upon its arrival. The food, regrettably, was barely warm, which immediately set a disappointing tone. Moreover, the promised explosion of flavors that typically characterize Indian cuisine was conspicuously absent. Both curries I ordered were nothing short of awful. The lack of depth in taste and the absence of the anticipated aromatic spices left much to be desired. It's disheartening when a restaurant renowned for its cuisine fails to deliver on its promise of quality. Given my high expectations, this experience was an unfortunate letdown. I genuinely hoped for a delightful culinary journey, but instead, it was a lackluster affair that missed the mark entirely."
