"AVOID THIS! Thank me later ; Worst Indian food ever. My family of 4 made a short trip to Hamburg from Copenhagen and had the unfortunate experience of ordering food from this outlet. We do not have high standards, but just expected some good food for dinner but the food was so horrible tasteless and cold and stale meat that none of us ate anything at all and ended up eating yoghurt to bed. Because it was just too late. I usually call upon the owner/chef of the restaurant only on 2 occasions either if its too good or too bad. Obviously this time , I called the owner and complained about the bad quality of food and the long delay, but he was simply arrogant enough to say that it’s me who has a bad taste and he has the best food in town. Not just that, he calls me few minutes later and tells me to not write any reviews because I threatened him to do so and that he would offer me a new meal or refund. You probably know that I chose neither and therefore writing this review to save others from a similar misery. Happy eating! Not here :D"

nice Indian food ... be sure to order indish spicy and not German spicy. the garnel in yellow curry and the vindaloo is great and cannot be missed. ask for sunny - he will take care of them.

Most unfriendly behaviour i seen ever, I book a table for my birthday and it was so horrible. My wife and me we felt unwelcome the food was very tasteless . almost after every strenuous flight I go to gandhi to take a meal to me, which lets me revive, body and soul again. all ingredients are organic and all dishes are prepared with carefree and creativity. each of the large rectangular white bowls is decorated with tiny pieces and slices of carrots and red prayers so that they look like a painting. their sharpness has many aromen and you can learn that what is served in other Indian restaurants is brutally primitiv. the personal is charming and proud to wear the most striking ties you can find in hamburg. in the summer you can sit outside and watch the busy driving in hamburg live. when they feel the cold in winter, they go there and warm up fro...

the prices are not representative for the food they get. seafood soup was in the ground Indian tomato soup with 1 garn in the middle. samosas, although large for the price was only warmed again and my came still cold in the middle. the waiter was friendly and replaced it, but then my starter came to my partner already, and the Raita side dish did not come up until I was almost finished, so not even was needed. also a very strange rita, or should I say differently to anyone I've ever tasted. orange in color with cold kartoffels inside and without mint taste at all. the most important courses each had about 5 pieces of chicken and very thin sauces, which although tasting ok did not match the 1...
