"I would not even give this restaurant 1 star! My experience was absolutely terrible! I placed an order through Deliveroo, but the restaurant uses their own drivers, so I was instructed to call the restaurant directly. Despite being only 6 minutes away, I was unable to go there personally as I was at work. When I called the restaurant, they informed me that the driver had left 10 minutes before my call, even though the restaurant is only a 6-minute drive away and he still had not arrived. This made no sense to me. After waiting 60 minutes for my food to arrive, it still had not come. The restaurant advised me to contact Deliveroo for a refund, but Deliveroo told me to speak with the restaurant. When I called the restaurant again, instead of apologizing for their mistake, the employee rudely suggested that I ask my manager for an extra lunch break or quit, and then proceeded to laugh. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. I will never recommend this place again. If you want to risk losing your money and receiving terrible customer service, then go ahead. Otherwise, I suggest going to Nandos for better value and customer service – plus, it’s the same food! What a joke! Improve your service!"

Yesterday was the first time I had eaten there, but I'm sure I'll be back. the staff was very attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. they even gave us 2 extra knives when my young son dropped him.

We went to this restaurant for our first trip out after Covid as we have been there several times before and we always enjoy the food here. The staff were just as friendly and the food was lovely again. We will be going back again and again.

We were recommended trying this place; with people saying it is better than Nandos. We both had the hanging skewers that comes with 2 sides each. We had the sharing platter for starters. Food was so nice and very reasonably priced. They make their own sauces; highly recommend the Coriander Lime. Will be coming back again. Voir le carte

The only Portuguese restaurant in Romford and is owned by a Filipina. Service was really quite fast. I admire how staff handle their i-rate guest. Portions is a thumbs up. Good for sharing. They offer 4 kinds of Home Made sauce: Garlic herbs, Capsicum, Volcanic and Coriander lime which is my favorite. Grilled Chicken is good. Tabouleh is good. Beef skewers was a bit rubbery. Salad can be improved. I like the mashed sweet potato and the perfect fries. Over all service is 4.

I used to enjoy this restaurant, but it has really gone downhill. I was excited to hear they were now offering delivery, but I was extremely disappointed with the quality. The chicken was cold and the chips were like cardboard. It felt like a complete waste of money. I understand that businesses are trying to make up for lost revenue due to the closures, but charging £20 for a whole chicken and 2 sides for takeout is outrageous. Have they not seen the competition? There are plenty of other peri peri places that offer much better deals, like a tasty meal for £11.49 with plenty of food.
