"Our first visit today. I am a meat eater (reducing my intake of meat though) and the Mrs is a vegan and it is so difficult to find somewhere that serves a balance of food suitable for her and that will keep me interested too. There are so few places around East Lancashire/above Manchester so we were delighted to get a recommendation for Earthlings from our vegan friend. Simple elegant decor and a spotlessly clean premises, an interesting menu and specials board and very friendly staff. So...the food I went for the breakfast burrito, a beautiful purple coloured wrap with mushrooms, ‘Sosage’ pattie and whole earth baked beans, salad leaves and tomatoes on the side. I would have licked the plate clean had social etiquette allowed. The Mrs went for the Pumpkin seed, quinoa and Chia burger with slaw salsa and a few sweet potato cubes on the side from the specials board. I didn’t try hers, but she made approving noises and faces whilst she ate and said after how nice it was. Dessert was choc orange cheesecake with a scoop of vanilla Booja Booja ‘ice cream’ for me and Lavender and Lemon cheesecake with a scoop of berry sorbet for the Mrs. A cappuccino and an Americano brought the bill to around £33 money well spent and we will definitely be going back!"

"We happened to stop by while taking a walk around Egerton, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, seating us in one of the booths at the front. They were fantastic! Our drinks arrived quickly, and as soon as we ordered our meals, the food followed shortly after. I must admit, we were initially spoiled for choice with such a great selection of dishes on the menu. We decided to start with the goat cheese and halloumi appetizers, and both were absolutely delicious! Definitely a must for cheese lovers! For our main courses, we chose the Italian chicken gnocchi and a burger with fries. Both dishes were generous in size and really tasty! The burger was quite the challenge—definitely a big one to get your mouth around! I will definitely be returning to try some other dishes, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to family and friends!"

"I recently had the best sushi at this restaurant! We visited this afternoon and the sushi was so exceptional that I couldn't wait to leave a five-star review! We ordered a mixed nigiri platter and a spider maki roll. The sushi rice was absolutely fantastic! It was unlike any sushi I’ve had before—no hard, dry textures or long travel taste. The combination of flavors in all the sushi was simply amazing. It was fresh, delicious, and offered great value for money! Unlike some other places, it wasn't overloaded with ingredients. We’re definitely interested in trying their teppanyaki dishes, but we knew we’d be too full to manage it today! I really wish this restaurant were right next to our apartment, as we only came for an event nearby. If I lived closer, I would visit all the time! We did wait for over 30 minutes to get our sushi, but it was absolutely worth it. It's clear this place is very popular for takeout and dining in. (Just a note: the picture with the white plate isn’t ours; we just wanted to take a photo.)"

"My friends often recommended this place, so I decided to give it a try for the first time. I went with a friend for lunch on Sunday at 12:30, while some of our other friends joined us a bit later. We had reserved a table based on the recommendation of the staff, who were very helpful. The restaurant had a beautiful decoration with lovely colors, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I appreciated that the pub was dog-friendly, and the rural setting made for a relaxing atmosphere, especially in the spacious beer garden at the back. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I have already recommended this place to someone from my gym/spa who was looking for a nice place to have lunch nearby. I plan to go back with my partner and other friends soon. Overall, I regret not trying this place sooner, but I will definitely be returning. I have experience working in a similar type of pub, so I don't give reviews often, but this place deserves a mention."

"Been coming here for many years. But a few weeks ago I came here and my food was a bit hit and miss. But today was definitely the last time I will visit here with this present management. Second price hike and the food portions and quality has gone to the s excuse the pun). Cheese pie meal came with cold beans and a few chips. They would have heated my meal back up, but waited so long i couldn't be bothered)No cheese sauce anymore, unless you pay extra. What a shame that this place now serves you scraps for top dollar. Its usually full. But today very quiet. Not be long before this place will hit rock bottom. Shame really . I am not a vindictive person and will always give a fair review. To be verbally slaughtered by locals and friends, will not make me take this post down. The landlady was very pleasant . But the food was not good. ."
