"When we arrived a few days later, the staff greeted us warmly and attentively, striking the perfect balance between being welcoming and respectful of our space. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her ‘Afternoon tea’, noting that there was plenty of it. As for me, I opted for the Cod Fish Cake on Thai Green curry sauce for my starter, which turned out to be the best I’ve ever had. The Sea Bass on wilted lettuce heart that followed was simply phenomenal, bursting with a variety of complementary flavors like olives, olive crumbs, and battered anchovies. Despite our relatively modest order thanks to the discounted voucher deal, the staff’s attitude was top-notch, serving as a great testament to the restaurant’s quality service and delicious food. I am confident that I, and likely my friends too, will be returning in the future."

We were the first to test their new Christmas cocktails. Loved them. The afternoon tea was also one of the best. Very pleasant restaurant area and great service. Beautiful clean loos. The deal included use of the small swimming pool and sauna. This was nothing outstanding but perfectly serviceable and a pleasant time was had by us all. We all said we would return.

Booked a Groupon for the afternoon tea at fox fields. I’m vegan, husband eats anything. I was expecting the usual shop bought bland, and was pleasantly surprised the husbands selection looked lovely all baked on site, mine was far more superior, all baked on site delicious and I even got clotted’not’ cream with my scone staff was attentive and friendly. We will be booking another soon

Hard working polite staff ....food fantastic but £40 for the afternoon tea for two is ridiculous....the photo on the website I feel is very misleading....nowhere near you get that much.....a couple of sarnies each...a scone each....a mouthful of soup and a couple of other small things with jam butter......£20 for two may have been about right.....shame really as everything else was fantastic.

We used the restaurant on a couple of occasions whilst we stayed at the hotel. Food was absolutely terrific. Really great selection on the menu and some things I had not tried before, but always wanted too ie Salt Marsh Lamb. We even had a Sunday Roast here which was also really nice. The bar is another treat James got me into Bath Tub Gin I can't leave it alone now! Really nice place great food wonderful Gin! [hidden link]

We visited a lot last year, both for afternoon tea and for lunch we even had a wedding breakfast her. The staff were very polite and helpful couldn't fault the service at all. We've had the afternoon tea twice now, and actually found it was a bit to much for us at lunchtime but excellent all the same and lovely bubbly! The menu is a little selective but we found the portions quite large, but certainly tasty. Lovely area outside to sit on a sunny day.

Stayed here one night in July 22. Was lovely, staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely large room and view of water feature. Food was the best we had tasted in a long time. We had a three course meal and it was delicious. Animal friendly and there was a wedding taking place the next day; which had no effect on our stay it was beautiful. Would highly recommend a stay here. Special mention to the staff who went above and beyond their duties to ensure a lovely night.

Two of us enjoyed a pleasant afternoon tea here, we were met by helpful staff and quickly served. The tea was a selection of freshly prepared and nicely presented sandwiches and wraps which included a small cup of hot soup and a hot sausage roll. A selection of cakes and scones with cream and jam completed the offerings. A choice of tea or coffee were the beverages. The hotel itself is a well maintained and modernised building in well tended grounds with ample parking.

I had heard about the low prices at this restaurant if you go between 4pm-6pm, and it's true. The menu is limited to just pizzas and pasta dishes, but don't let that discourage you. I had one of the best pizzas I've ever had - a seafood pizza with plenty of tuna, anchovies, and prawns - all for only £4.75! I visited the restaurant around that time for the first time and will definitely be going back for a Sunday lunch soon. With two other restaurants nearby, including a Michelin 2-star restaurant, Foxfield, this place has some competition. However, I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant before the other two.

We visited Foxfields restaurant with a 50 voucher and spent 25, only to be told we couldn't receive change or another voucher for the remaining credit. The manager eventually offered us 5 as a compromise, but we were still left feeling disappointed by the 20 shortfall. It seemed like the restaurant cared more about money than customer satisfaction. We ended up paying 25 in cash and returned at a later date to use the voucher. I would advise against purchasing vouchers for Foxfields, as their lack of customer service makes me reluctant to return or recommend the restaurant. It's important to support businesses that prioritize customer satisfaction during these challenging times.

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
