"I booked this place mostly based on the existing reviews and photos. This was my first visit here and everything from booking to the meal itself was perfect. I'd read some mixed information about it being dog-friendly, so when I booked through Opentable, I enquired and they replied right away confirming it was dog friendly, and they made sure I got booked onto a dog-friendly table at the front. Even though our table was next to the front door, there's a heavy glass passageway that we were pleasantly surprised to learn blocks any breeze from people opening and closing the door. All the staff we had contact with were impeccable, our waitress was lovely and attentive without being overbearing, literally perfect. For starters we had the Lamb Croquettes and Fish Cakes, both were a decent portion, plated beautifully and the lamb was wonderful. For mains I had the beef Wellington and my partner had a special of steak and eggs with chips. The steak was cooked mid-rare as asked, and had a lovely smoky char. My beef wellington contained the most soft, succulent beef I think I've ever had, and again was plated very artistically. The carrot puree was incredibly smooth. Unfortunately, I completely over-faced myself by ordering whilst hungry, and didn't get to finish my truffle and parmesan fries, but they were nice. I had a couple of French martinis and my partner tried a Delamere forest cocktail. We then forced a couple of desserts into us, I had some ice cream and my partner had a sticky toffee. I want to go back as soon as possible to try more menu items, honestly the best food experience I've had in a long time. Please give yourselves a pat on the back for your brilliant hospitality!"

"Visited here a couple of times before and have ordered a takeaway Afternoon Tea (which was lush). But on Sat we had been to Media City and just got off the tram on a hot, muggy day. The icecream van at Media City had gone.. sad kids! We were about to walk home via the canal when we saw the Mr Whippy sign in Us Four. So we walked in the kids were overjoyed at not only the Mr Whippy icecream (the best they said) but the selection of cones toppings!!!! So happy children! And when you have happy children you always get happy parents so we decided to have a chill a lovely beer too. I can't thank tne two staff enough (Connor Michaela). You were both totally engaging to our children. You went anove beyond! You put on whatever music we wanted, so we ended up having our own little family disco. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for another drink the kids had another dessert! It was honestly the perfect end to a fantastic day out. To the owners........ I honestly can't thank Connor Micheala enough for the hospitality, engaging with our children and just being really nice people to get to know. The vibe was spot on, the beers were ice cold, the kids loved their desserts and the music was just great! Plus the decor is v cool totally up our street!!! Thankyou UsFour!"

"Compared to the Manchester City centre San Carlo (which we had visited for lunch a fortnight earlier), this restaurant exploits a captive audience in the attached Airport Marriott hotel and the local area. The staff simply do not have to compete so hard for your business and, sadly, this is reflected in the less than perfect levels of service and attentiveness. Don't get me wrong, this is still a good place for good and drink, but.... Try the Manchester City centre San Carlo to see just how good this chain can be. We shall use this airport restaurant again because of its convenience and easy access from the Marriott. May 2022."

"This is the finest Italian dining experiences I have ever had. Before I mention anything about the food, the service provided by Dina was incredible. I felt as if she treated us like old friends and nothing was too much to ask for. Thank you!...Her colleagues were also great hosts. The menu itself offers an excellent variety of dishes, many staples of Italian cuisine like Carbonara but also many unique dishes. They have a lovely specials board too which I ordered from I had the oz T-Bone steak and it was heaven! I highly recommend the Arancini aswell!"

"I advise not to book through open table. We were told upon arrival that our booking was not valid, and that they were fully booked. We were also told, this had happened before and they had no access to the system to turn bookings off? So you’re happy for people to make wasted journeys for special occasions and turn up to be told that their reservation isn’t valid? Very strange. It was Father’s Day and we travelled one hour with a 10 month old baby. The manager was happy to politely apologise and have us on our way, no offer of a voucher or much effort to ‘fit us in’. We politely pushed for any alternative table at all as we were desperate. We were then offered to sit outside (not really the special meal we came for nor particularly appropriate with a baby) but after sitting at the bar and scouring the internet to find a table anywhere else we accepted sitting outside as a last resort. We were then given our diet cokes free as courtesy. We like to think we are very polite, so we accepted the mix up and didn’t say anything despite there being 8 tables free inside the restaurant. We kept quiet thinking perhaps they were expecting an influx of bookings soon. We were however quite shocked that 1 hour went by and still there were 8 empty tables available inside whilst we remained outside? We could have sat inside for however long was available and then moved outside which would have been better than nothing? Again. It just seemed a very odd decision on our part, maybe an explanation would help if this were to happen again. From a customers point of view it was baffling. Further to the point above, not at any point during our stay was there ever full covers on the tables. There was always empty tables available inside. We would have even been happy with a maximum table time if that would have been offered to us. Moving on to the food, Our bread starter was nice, no complaints Our roast dinner again was nice. Everything came pretty quickly. However, it went downhill from here. We got forgotten about for a very long time after our mains, we waited an exceptionally long time to be asked if we wanted dessert. We actually finished our main and starter within 1 hour. However we spent approximately 2.5 hours at the restaurant, waiting for a waiter to come over to take our plates away and ask us if we wanted dessert. Dessert finally came, which was quite possibly the worst desserts we’ve ever experienced. I ordered a cookie and ice cream which ended up being goo and ice cream, the ‘cookie’ was non existent and was infact just goo that would drip in a soup consistency from my spoon. My husband ordered a sticky toffee pudding which wasn’t cooked. We had been polite the entire time, despite our frustrations. We were quite honestly just baffled, and although staff were very polite. We just couldn’t understand our experience. We politely asked a member of staff if the desserts were supposed to be like this and we were told, absolutely not and that they would be taken off our bill. We received 20% off, and our desserts and initial drinks were taken off which was appreciated. It’s difficult to get out with a baby, so it was disappointing that this was our experience on my husbands first Father’s Day, which was supposed to be a special day for us."
