"I'd heard people mention The Filling Station and decided to visit it today.. Firstly it is a former filling station and car showroom converted into a diner with photos to remind older diners when it was Crosthwaite Garage. Also as the restaurant is biker friendly,...with parking spaces for motorbikes outside, there is plenty of bike memorabilia regarding the Isle Of Man TT. For people arriving by car, The Filling Station is 100 yards from the A66 and has free parking outside, another bonus. Secondly, while not the most memorable meal I've had, the cheeseburger, chips and coleslaw was decent value at 10.50 and my cappucino was 2.60, again good value in Keswick. The staff were very friendly and I didn't have to wait too long. Also a couple behind me who I know from Whitehaven commented on their bacon and fried egg bap and considered them good value. Another thing for all there is only one toilet and you may have to wait, the toilet was immaculate and has baby changing facilities and hand sanitisers."

This place is a little gem great coffee and food and great staff do not go past this cafe you will regret it

Staff were so lovely and welcoming and the milkshakes/ hot chocolates were amazing! Will definitely be back!

Very good although were near the door and our legs got cold when the door was opened. Had to put our coats over them.

Great welcome and nice vibe. Menu is mainstream, comfort food. Food portions are generous but rather disappointing, especially child chips (replaced to be fair).

We stopped here on a Sunday morning after a short walk mainly for a drink and some toast. Great service and drink. Will definitely return here when back in Keswick.

The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu offered typical comfort food options. The portions were large, but the quality was a bit underwhelming, especially the children's chips (which were replaced without issue). Voir le carte

had once again the most amazing lunch .went for eggs florentine with a side of crispy bacon . perfectly poached eggs .piping hot and delicious portobello mushrooms all lovely and fresh and cooked to order . friendly staff who went the extra mile to make us welcome and accommodate us .see you in a couple of weeks

we called on Monday morning in filling station cafe to the breakfast and it has now been added to our list of places we visit next time near kewick! in the inner we were warmly welcomed and the service was fabulous from beginning to end. friendly, efficient and very helpful. we visited as a family of six and all enjoyed our meals. the food was absolutely delicious and the portions were enormous fantastic value for money! relaxed, family atmosphere, excellent staff and fantastic eating. I would recommend it.
