popped in on a chilly monday lunch food good and the chicken bacon sandwich was very filling claire was friendly and made sure the fire was topped up to keep it nice and warm would recomend

Today, the woman working the cash register seemed to be the only one on duty. She was helpful and our orders arrived promptly. She was polite and friendly. I would definitely be happy to return. Voir le carte

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding and the staff were very welcoming. The prices were reasonable and they also offered a great selection of local craft beers.

Service was shocking. Incorrect food order, double charging for drinks and when pointed out we were told to “speak the manager, she’s over there innit”. Weird hybrid pulled pork sausage roll thing was barely edible and sausages (nuked to the point of being weaponised) and mash with the texture of reheated regurgitated wallpaper paste completed the grim experience.

I had a great time at this pub. The location is convenient with plenty of parking and bus routes. They offer a good value 2 or 3 course meal deal. The three cheese mushroom bruschetta was a bit too cheesy and creamy for my taste, but still delicious. The prawn and calamari could have been of better quality as I found them to be too deep fried. The fish and chips were a safe and tasty choice, but I wish they would offer salad as an alternative to peas, rather than as a replacement for the chips. Overall, it was a pleasant evening catching up with a friend and I look forward to returning soon. Voir le carte
