I visited this pub for lunch where they had a full menu and special offerings. The staff and environment generally are friendly making it a safe place to dine.

Lovely little find not far from main road. Absolutely beautiful food and lovely service. Be aware, no car park so park off the main road but plenty space there.

Amazing breakfast and very tasty the sausages and bacon were amazing and large and tasted like it came straight from the butchers and not mass produced the eggs were spot on also mushrooms were cooked just how I like them

I visited the pub garden shortly after Covid restrictions were lifted. The owner gave us a warm welcome and chatted with customers while clearing tables. He expressed gratitude for their support during the pub's reopening. The customer service was excellent.

Recent visit for evening meal. I think they call it pub grub” but it’s much better than that and does the usual such as curries, steaks and burgers. Service is always excellent and food reasonable and of a high quality. It’s also our local so a great pub just pop in for a quiet drink. Thank you Lisa, lan and staff. Keep up the good work

Fantastic pub, all drinks are perfectly kept. Some lovely ales and the Guinness is great. So far tried the scampi, burgers, burrito and lasagne. The lasagne was ok, nothing special but adequate while the rest were outstanding. Good honest pub grub and very good portion size. The service was excellent and the staff are great. Highly recommend.

What a great friendly place. 25 of us just dropped in on our way to Swansea v Forest, great welcome, no fuss. Lovely selection of beers at proper prices. The place itself is great, if we lived any closer than Nottingham this would be our local, it's everything you want from a pub! It is now on our good pub guide for our travels with football, quite an honour. The girls behind the bar were terrific, thanks for having us , good luck in the future.

This restaurant serves traditional British pub food. All dishes are cooked perfectly, especially the fries! The burgers are outstanding and there is a diverse menu to choose from. It is a cozy countryside pub with a warm and friendly ambiance. There are no jukeboxes or gambling machines, which is a plus. The staff is very welcoming. It is a comfortable spot in the winter and has a fantastic outdoor beer garden in the summer. I highly recommend it.

Today, we went to the pub for lunch. It is a charming country pub with a warm welcome. We ordered a prawn baguette with sides and a vegetarian burger, both of which were delicious. The portions were so generous that we couldn't finish them, especially considering the exceptional value for the price. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed our visit so much that we booked a party of 12 for a future visit. Thank you, we can't wait to come back again.
