Excellent food and service, even though the café was incredibly busy the staff were friendly and calm, will definitely go back!

Very friendly staff. Good selection of food. Everyone was there for breakfast which looked amazing. The lunch menu was going up as we were leaving, all of which sounded delicious.

Excellent breakfast! This is the second time I have been here for breakfast it won’t be the last. Service is spot on, quick efficient. Locally sourced products for a good full English breakfast….highly recommend trying if you haven’t already. Voir le carte

Been here on 3 separate occasions for breakfast. Food freshly prepared, good choice, helpful staff, nice premises, if a bit non-descript from the outside. Only small gripe is that a number of breakfast staples are 'extras '. However, great stop for breakfast on your way to the coast

This spot has it all. Friendly and efficient service, a good selection of tasty and local food for breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake, and comfortable and stylish eating indoors and outdoors. We had the kippers and poached egg and a delicious granola with berries and Greek style yogurt with coffee and pain au chocolat to finish. Set us up pertectly for the drive home to Brighton.

Had the Suffolk Breakfast from the menu which was just enough to get you going ,if you have a larger appetite you may want to add a few extrasLovely sausages with a little spice to make them tasty and interesting ,eggs cooked to perfection and no complaints about the bacon all items lovely and hotAlso had the Sunday papers on side so didn’t have to talk to the wifeWould happily visit again Voir le carte

First time visit after having many good things about the food. Welcomed and served by friendly and efficient staff.Chose the ham salad as a light lunchtime snack with a side order of the bread basket. Although it was a good sized salad with good slices of ‘real’ ham we were slightly disappointed that the mixed salad component of the meal was just plain leaves with tomato and cucumber. However the beetroot salad and roasted squash salad were both very tasty. Excellent quality Americano coffee.

I've visited this cafe many times but never managed to write a review. The place definitely deserves a visit. Everything works very smoothly. The staff are always extremely friendly and the service is quick. The breakfast menu is excellent with options for all ages and some decent vegetarian choices. The food is always freshly cooked. The filter coffee is excellent and comes with free refills although one serving is usually enough. I thoroughly recommend that people stop hear if they are in the area.

It used to be really good visiting here but not anymore. Different staff, mostly very young and a condensed menu..waited 50 mins for our food so read all the papers and listened to the young staff gossiping about the customers and not in a good way! Our drinks were fast to turn up but no good without food! The food was mediocre when it arrived and I actually didn’t bother eating half of it as just wasn’t nice. When we left the girl taking our money told me it was her last shift and she couldn’t wait to leave…I told her politely the staff needed to stop gossiping about the customers and she said ‘you think’….yes I do definitely think that! Not bothering going back again, it’s changed so much,... Voir le carte
