"have been twice as good as it proves delicious! near american tex mex, as I found in Scotland. on a Sunday evening it is nicely quiet and a nice, quiet atmosphere to enjoy a meal. cons: Saturday evenings are quite lively (and open, loud and a bit chaotic) and toilets are down so they are not easily accessible for older and handicapable. minus a star for these reasons. they are dog-friendly! our dazzling border collie was very chilled on Sunday night. would not recommend bringing a dog in a lively night. the food was tasteful and fresh. perfectly dimensioned portions in which they feel comfortable but not to exceed. the Voile(n)t unicorn margarita is divine! the service is impeccable, with many servers that frequently check in on them. that is our"

It was just okay. The food was decent, but Los Burritos, the takeout spot in the pedestrian area, was much better.

We had the Strawberry Margarita, Churros, Enchiladas, and a Fried Burrito! The decor is fantastic, and the food is incredibly authentic! We enjoyed it so much that we returned twice in two days just to soak up the atmosphere.

This Mexican restaurant offers a wide variety of gluten-free options. The server was very knowledgeable about gluten and made sure to double-check several items with the kitchen. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. They also have an impressive cocktail menu. Voir le carte

A great place for Mexican food and drinks. It does get busy in the evenings so worth booking a table. We ended up eating here twice while staying in Inverness. After enjoying ourselves and the food on the first visit we decided to go back for more! The staff were friendly and helpful, Service was prompt.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful, and I particularly enjoyed the hat-lamp decorations, which were very unique. The Latin music selection was excellent, and as someone who doesn't typically enjoy spicy food, I was pleased to find dishes that suited my palate. I would definitely love to visit this place again.

We had a satisfactory dining experience, but the server was clear that the food could not be guaranteed as gluten-free. The chips are fried in a shared fryer, so they are not a viable option. The gluten-free tortillas were quite tasty, but unfortunately, some members of our group experienced issues after our visit. Exercise caution! Voir le carte

The Tex-Mex cuisine here is pretty good. There aren’t many vegetarian options available, but the vegetarian menu clearly marks what’s suitable. I recommend ordering the nachos and waiting until your main dish arrives before digging in. You can use some of the toppings from the nachos to enhance your main dish. In particular, the chimichanga would have really benefited from the extra moisture and flavor.

Lured in by the cool motto over the doorway, Life Without Mexican Food is No Life At All I had raised expectations, which were dashed when the queso appetizer arrived. It was cheesy salsa, so runny that it wouldn 't stick on the chip. My tacos were passible and my wife liked her fish tacos. My go-to dish is usually the mole, which is my measure of a good Mexican restaurant... the manager had no idea what mole was. If you are jonesing for good Mexican food, change latitude because it 's not in Inverness.

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. She was a wee star – always there with a smile, quick with a recommendation, and knew her menu inside out. I barely noticed our water bottle was empty, and whoosh, there she was with a full one. That’s service for you! The atmosphere in The White House was just as warm and inviting as you’d hope for. It felt like sitting in a cosy wee pub in the Highlands, with all the charm and friendliness you’d expect. So, if you’re ever in the mood for a meal that’s as satisfying as a wee dram on a cold night, head to The White House. It’s not just eating; it’s a proper Scottish experience, full of heart and soul"
