"Tolles Lokal in Kirrweiler, an dem wir schon oft vorbeigefahren sind und jetzt endlich mal an einem Samstag Abend ausprobieren durften. Die Gaststätte war in einer eigentlich eher frequenzschwachen Jahreszeit Mitte November (außerhalb der Touristensaison und vor den ganzen Weihnachtsfeiern) sehr gut besucht, was an für sich schon ein sehr gutes Zeichen ist. Reservierung ist daher am Wochenende dringend empfohlen. Der Service war sehr effizient und aufmerksam, die Getränke sind dann auch sehr schnell nach der Bestellung gekommen. Wir hatten uns nach der telefonischen Vorwarnung (es sei viel los an diesem Abend) schon auf längere Wartezeiten eingestellt und fanden es trotzdem erwähnenswert und vorbildlich, dass die Chefin nach ca. 45 Minuten zu uns an den Tisch kam um uns die Situation nochmal zu erklären, u.a. auch dass ihr Mann in der Küche ganz alleine kocht und dass wir der übernächste Tisch seien, der dran kommt. Das Essen war dann auch nach weiteren 15 Minuten da, wir hatten einen Salatteller und den Zander mit Süßkartoffel, beides hat sehr lecker geschmeckt, die Portionen waren großzügig und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis mehr als angemessen. Man merkt dass hier ein absoluter Profi am Werk ist und die Essensqualität ist klar überdurchschnittlich im Vergleich zu dem was andere in unserer Region in dieser Preisklasse bieten. Auch die Weinkarte ist mehr als ordentlich und preislich nicht so abgehoben wir an vielen Stellen insbesondere direkt an der Weinstraße mittlerweile üblich. Einzig das Ambiente und die Atmosphäre konnte uns nicht ganz überzeugen was vermutlich auch Geschmacksache ist und letztendlich auch mit den räumlichen Gegebenheiten zusammenhängt. Wir werden sicher nicht das letzte mal hier gegessen haben und möchten in der wärmeren Jahreszeit mal den Außenbereich testen. I can only report well. The food was very good, cost-effective and the staff despite stress very polite, attentive and accommodating. Extra wishes were met immediately: I have not eaten in any other restaurant in Maikammer!

Unavoidably arrived, only wanted to drink a bit, but have eaten a little bit in the very cozy courtyard. A delicious flame cake 1x baked Camembert with salad supplement. Unfortunately, I did not photograph 2tes, but it looked very good visually and the salad supplement was also very good - there was someone much trouble. We'll come back here.

The family resort, which has been run by Son Stamatis since 2014, is very sporty between the tennis hall and the outdoor swimming pool, has a large beer garden, which meets with a warm weather. No wonder, because the local operators have sat down well with visual and noise barriers. Mediterranean herbs, rose bushes and other green foliage included. There is also a wonderful offer of meatless, warm appetizers available here. But the predominant part of the dishes listed here contains pork, lamb, cattle or turkey. My colleague took off the herb salad. The heads didn't want to have been split for free. The meaty vanguard made my counterpart's gyrosher.
