Enoteca Del Castello Di Proceno

we had dinner one summer evening in the excellent restaurant in the garden of the medieval castle with a pleasant atmosphere. we enjoyed all the courses, wines and very friendly service. We'll remember this dinner for a long time!

Wonderful experience. The castle is lovely, dream rooms and a fabulous location. Counts a delicious and very helpful person. After the stay, guests can visit the castle and the Rocca and tell the story of the family. Tent and managed with love. recommended

A wonderful start to the meal with Parmesan mousse, a Lazio region wine and delicious courses befor ending with lemoncello. Our first night in country finale, so sleep deprivation has erased memories of what I ate, but I definitely remember totally enjoying the meal and the service. I need to go back at least one more time!

We met this lovely restaurant thanks to friends who brought us, allowing us to enjoy a beautiful space, surrounded by a welcoming and pleasant nature and pampered by the owner, from the maitre-sommelier and from all the staff. Excellent food, as well as the choice of wines that allowed us to enjoy some wines really remarkable from the production of aquesia lands, an interesting new wine reality of aquapendente.

5 stars for a particular location and a welcoming environment. There is a nice fireplace that warms the atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and excellent dishes. I liked their main dish of which unfortunately I do not remember the name, an uncomposed meatloaf and served with a slightly spicy sauce. Vegetables are not the usual accompaniment but a plus of flavor to the dishes that accompany. Easy parking at the entrance of the village and a few steps.

We came here for dinner, and were welcomed by a young woman that spoke really good english. I am celiac, and had been in contact by email with the owner, Cecilia, before we came to make sure that this was no problem. They offered gluten free pasta, but i chose to have a selection of meats. The others at the table also had meat. The food was very good, and the service as well. The owner also came out to ask for me, since we had emailed and wanted to make sure that everything was good. A very sweet lady! The restaurants is located on the downside of castle all by it self, and has a cozy atmosphere. We would absolutly come back if in the area.

Having been three weeks in Italy now starting in Florence and walking the Via Francigena to Rome, I have no hesitation in saying this is the best place we have eaten. Situated in the historic Roman/Etruscan cellar of the castle above, the restaurant oozes charm and atmosphere. The service is outstanding, the food creative and the wine list extensive. Add to this a gracious, welcoming and charming hostess and staff, very reasonable prices and several complimentary and interesting between-course amuse bouche appetisers, and I would recommend this as THE place to eat in Proceno. If we were here more than one night we would have been back every night...loved it.

At the wine restaurant of Castello di Proceno you do not have a simple, although excellent, dinner, but you live above all an experience. Fiabesco place, rightly not too shiny, so obviously chic, menu that collects history, tradition and territory, welcome and excellent service, excellent dishes, price much lower than the value of the evening. I tasted the appetizer consisting of many delicious bucconi and served on a wonderful ascent, the Cosimino which is a very tasty second accompanied by excellent cheese and gratinate potatoes, and a delicious sheep ricotta with honey and pear.
