"The pub was lovely drinks were expensive but the menu was very reasonably priced. My better half had fillet of pork and it looked lovely and she said it was very nice, I had steak ale pie looked nice, But the topping was a very thin couple of layers of puff pastry it looked like it should of been thicker and the bottom bit was missing very disappointing, the pastry is to me very important! Then the beef sadly was very bland and fatty and the gravy was very thin the vegetables were nice and crunchy, but the courgette was hardly cooked my steak pie was very under par but our other meal was good and the venue was very nice will try again but won't have the steak pie!!!"

Great location near some very beautiful gardens. Good choice of well kept beer and great food. Warning side dishes have to be ordered as main meals don't come with any. Well worth a try.

I had a wonderful weekend after winning a Facebook competition with The Coach House at Englands Gate Inn in Bodenham. The experience included a tour of Chase Distillery, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at The Coach House. I had a fantastic time—the room was adorable, the service was incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding! I feel so fortunate to have had this experience. Thank you!

We booked a room here for last weekend and had dinner and drinks in the pub.The food was very tasty but poor service being long delays before the food arrived. When we had finished are food we was told to vacate our table as it was given to someone else.but we was ordering drinks and had to stand after all five of use paid to dine here and we all paid to stay here to.The room also was not cleaned on the still i stayed. Its so such a lovely area and will stay elsewhere next time. We had Sunday lunch here. Having previously checked vegetarian choices on their sample menus online, the vegetarian options on Sunday's menu were unimaginative, with garlic mushrooms starter alternatives melon or soup), followed by mushroom stroganoff with rice: and I think the rice was from an easy cook sachet. One of my companions chose Herefordshire roast beef: it was overcooked and tough. We had asked the waitress before ordering if the beef would be served rare or well done: she didn't know and didn't offer to find out. Nice old fashioned bar, with good draught beer and cider.

A lovely little pub just off the road between Gloucester and Leominster, close to Hampton Court and well worth taking the two minute diversion toThe staff were welcoming and friendly, the bar food good but not exceptional and it is here I make my first observation. Three of us had scampi, however the quantity varied between 6 and 11 pieces of scampi per person, why?Sadly the meal was let down by the coffee, it was not latte as one would expect in today's world, it was made from a packet. I understand that not all establishments can afford expensive coffee machines, but be upfront about it, we would have understoodHaving said that we would all happily return

"Entering the stablishment was fine got told to sit anywhere.. after sitting for over 20 minutes in an empty restaurant, I personally had to approach the staff member to come and take my order… drinks came swiftly food not far afterwards.. the quality of food burger was just below average…. Ordered the bbq wings which are battered!. The battered wings where not fully cooked/ barely cooked then lathered (bbq sauce) and served waited awhile as we didn’t get any cutlery or napkins seeing as it was a burger… personally has to go and receive a hand fully of napkin’s from I’m assuming another member of staff…not once did anyone come and check until I acknowledged of other work suttlely that no body had one and ask how the meal went.. gave the server the food and she had left one culprit wings behind… the view to the kitchen was clear leaving the door open.. I seen sous chef and other chef brush off the stituation!. So I carried over the remaining wing still tact For them to examine… Borge the sous chef also supporting chef both of thier mouths dropped and walked away with their heads face sing down… I was greeted with either a manager/assistant or supervisor she didn’t announce who she was.. I got told the wings have been compt what more do you want…. I wish I expressed a perfectly cooked patty.. abhtger byn to fit the over cooked patty… oh yeah not to be served raw batter for the bqq wings!. Can still taste the raw flour now an hour later… if anyone wants picture or updates please message me on [hidden email]"
