"We were craving a roast dinner yesterday and after reading some reviews, we decided to visit Empire Bar Restaurant. Upon looking at the menus, we were disappointed to find no Sunday Lunch option. We inquired about Sunday Roasts and a separate menu was brought to our table. When I asked about the soup of the day, the waitress was unsure. Our starters, garlic bread and chicken wings, arrived after a few minutes. While there was a noticeable price difference between the courses, the quality was lacking. Both Julie's beef and my chicken roast dinners were not up to par. The roasted potatoes lacked flavor and were only caramelized on one side. The mash was subpar with lumps and no seasoning, butter, or milk. The meats were overcooked but passable. The Yorkshire puddings were a mixed bag, some parts undercooked while others tasted burnt. There was an excessive amount of vegetables, which were mostly decent. The portions were generous and nobody would leave hungry, but the overall quality could definitely be improved."

The food was terrible and the service was subpar. You can find better food at your neighborhood kebab shop. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

went to empire for a family come together recently. great place, beautiful atmosphere, personal was on place and eating was delicious, it could not very recommend, we will definitely be back, good job youngs

we visit the empire a few times a month and we were never disappointed once. eating is always amazing and the service of the personal is incredible! we recommend this restaurant for all our family and friends and that will always...our go to the restaurant. I look forward to a Sunday roast all day, very disappointed, came to a dirty table, the waiter was nice and he couldn't apologize enough, though, the Rave music radiation is only for the young and really inappropriate for a restaurant on a...Sunday, burned carrots and hard bark, I would normally say if you were asked if it was okay but sometimes I could not leave it!

Very slow service, three attempts to order drinks with wait. Food was poor at best, had to send back one starter and the mains arrived on cold plates, all slopped together looking very unappetising (nothing like the pictures on here Wait staff comp’d one...meal and a free round of drinks, all without asking. It’s the one reason I’ve increased rating from to Won’t go back

I took my daughter and son out to dinner and had to wait for hours for our food to arrive. We were only served one drink the whole time, and the service was very slow despite there being few guests in the restaurant. The chips were burnt to a crisp, and there was a hair on the fish, which was absolutely disgusting. The staff apologized, but did not seem bothered by our complaint. Avoid this place, it's a waste of money.

Visited on a Thursday with friends, and what a great night! The garden area was so cute, under cover and the heater was nice and toasty. A big thanks to Niall and Andrew for putting up with us. They really made sure we were looked...after and they were so friendly and fun. Cocktails were for and they were lovely. Food was delicious, we had a mixed batch of food and no complaints from us! Thanks to the chef! Would recommend Empire bar and we’ll definitely be back. Great setting and even better staff, thanks for a great night!
