"Manuel 's does not disappoint. I come to London two or three times per year, and always make it Manuel 's at least once, sometimes twice, (and one year three times. First and foremost the food is always freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. How many restaurants have I had bruschetta I couldn 't tell you, but this is my favorite. The toast is always warm/hot, and the finely cut tomatoes are always cold and perfectly seasoned. This fussiness as some restaurants would call, are standard here, and the hot/cold brings a delightful change in the usual culinary sensations. Our pastas are always consistently good, freshly prepared, al dente, straight out of the pan, with delicious sauces only my mother could make. Although I fear to mention our favorite dessert (as it had once been sold out... , the panna cotta is always smooth and is served with a small cadre of beautiful fruits and seeds of the passion fruit.
