Great service, good prices and a very good rice. Lunch menu is a good way to taste your dishes at a very reasonable price

Un lugar fantástico en el centro. comida muy rica, presentación muy ocupada en los platos y sabor espectacular, especialmente la milhoja de berenjena con atún. Precio medio. Volvimos sin duda. Voir le carte

Excelente restaurante, muy acogedor y con una comida exquisita. Recomendables las puntillitas y la merluza por su frescura y sabor. Gran trato y muy atentos. No probamos los postres así que habrá que volver otro día

la comida muy buena, a un precio razonable para el comido y el lugar donde se encuentra el restaurante. El postre, pedí pastel de chocolate y galletas, no valía mucho la verdad que no recomendé ese postre. la atención del personal bastante buena y rápida.

Bonito Restaurante, sito en el local que fue la juguetería más antigua de Alicante en el que se ha respetado su aire clásico bien mezclado con lo actual. Buena cocina con excelentes arroces representativos de La Terreta , en especial el arroz de pulpo o de pato. Buen servicio, correcta aunque corta carta de vinos y precios adecuados. Recomendado. We ate here on a midweek night in February. Alicante was quiet so we had plenty of choice and we chose El Suquet almost by chance. We had croquetas to start very nice, tasty and crisp. We then shared a dis of banda rice with gambas and cuttlefish. It was really delicious. We had one drink each. The bill was very reasonable. Service was friendly and efficient.

There is so many nice restaurants in Alicante and this just OK. Looks nice and is designed well but the service is slow and food is just ‘fine’. Waited 15 minutes for drinks to arrive. Did the two tapas for £20 and they missed some dishes off. Nothing tasted amazing. The fried dishes tasted funny like the oil needed changing in the fryers. Stella on draught is very strange considering the amazing selection of Spanish beers? Wouldn’t recommend as a ‘must try’ place in Alicante.

I don't know about you but I just hate pushy waiters who try and grab you as you walk past and having several such experiences on this street, I was ready to leave when we spotted El Suquet where the waiting staff were ready to serve but not in your faces if you gave even a half glance in their direction. My wife and I enjoyed a very good quality tapas meal accompanied by a pleasant bottle of local rosada wine. We sat outside for a ringside view of the increasingly desperate attempts of the waiter at the neighbouring establishment to get people to sit at his tables before deciding to beat a hasty retreat when he successfully captured a large group of men on a stag party!
