"I did a preliminary research of places to eat in Barcelona looking for tapas of course but then I ran into the description for this restaurant. We love Peru, Peruvian food and especially the Peruvian people so we were excited to find out that this restaurant was a two minute walk from our hotel. On our first day in Barcelona we went to see the restaurant but in usual European fashion they were just about to close for the afternoon to get ready for 7:30 dinner reopening. We noticed there were people eating in the restaurant so we attempted to go in but the owner, Julio said they were closed. We said that we only wanted a Pisco sour but he said to come back later. So in the meantime we started to ask questions about the restaurant and if Julio was actually from Peru which sparked a great conversation about all the things we love about Peru, their people, etc. Julio then said to come in and he’d serve us a drink! Yahoo! We chatted a little, drank a GREAT Pisco sour and said we’d return tomorrow night. We were so excited to return the next night and showed up promptly at 7:30 to start a journey back to Peru. The food here is amazing, the drinks are delightful but the Peruvian ambiance is the best. Julio was so typically Peruvian in his graciousness and humility. He treated us as family because I think he could sense how very much we love Peruvians. When we were ordering (too much food) he suggested a smaller portion of the chicken. We hadn’t had Peruvian food in so long that we wanted everything on the menu but we tried to keep it reasonable…ha, ha! Needless to say, we were stuffed beyond belief at the end of our delicious, authentic meal. But Julio had other plans for us. He came over to the table with 3 shot glasses and poured us a full shot of Pisco and a mouthful for him. He then came over and gave each of us a typical Peruvian dessert cookie, alfajores! That was the best version of that cookie I have ever eaten! After all that he said to us, “May God bless you and safe journey home”. If I could give this restaurant a 10 rating I would! Thank you Julio for becoming a member of our family. You are now added to our list of our other Peruvian friends that we hold near and dear to our heart. We loved Barcelona so much that we are coming back soon. See you then!"

El pollo a la brasa es increíble y sabe a Perú, hemos probado el pollo Broaster el seco con frejoles, ceviche y arroz con mariscos y son muy buenos

Restaurante peruano en el centro de Barcelona. Sitio familiar y acogedor. No es la primera vez que vengo, ésta vez vine con amigos. En cuanto a la comida, es innegable que es de excelente calidad. Pero el servicio ésta vez no ha sido tan atento como en otras ocasiones. En global, lo recomiendo al 100%.

Good choice of food. Reasonably priced and quick service. I had the 1/4 chicken with chips and salad. The meal came with a bottle of Inca cola, which brought back some happy memories of Peru. Would definitely have no issues visiting again as plenty of choice on the menu. The menu was in Catalan, Spanish and English, which was useful.

Restaurante peruano, sencillo y familiar. Pedimos menú de 14€ con algo. Primero, segundo, bebida y postre o café. Los platos no son abundantes, algunos de los ingredientes, (patatas), estaban secos, exceso de cocción. La brocheta de pollo en cambio muy tierna. En general no está mal, pero no repetiría, almenos tipo menú. La tarta de zanahoria estaba algo cruda, se notaba demasiado el sabor de la harina y nada la zanahoria, a mejorar! Gracias!

Peruvian with a twist i would say. Great Cerviche thats for sure, excellent serving and full of flavors. Service was a little slow to start with drinks taking around 10-Minutes and having to ask for certain drinks once food started to be served, but overall service was good…. Had a good selection from the menu, large group of us so pretty much tried a starter and main from various selections. No real comments, all the selections plentiful and great tastes. More of a quick stop and grab some lunch or a quick dinner sort of place for me, but very good and would go back.
