"restaurant could say excellent, the quality of the products is very good, the seafood quite fresh and the paella mista is very good. I have returned to the restaurant a month later the food is great advice seafood, black rice and avocado salad with lobsters and pink sauce, pistachio ice cream is an excellent dessert with a very good presentation and a very good taste, the attention is excellent I will return without doubt."

"Where shall I start... My sister and I had a memorable evening at the El Desvàn de Tete . Calmly situated on the Avenida de Andalucia (next to the notary office), a little hidden behind one of the street trees covering the entrance. You enter a (kitchery) romantic patio full of greens separating each 2 tables. Soft (good) music in the background and kind reserved reception by Joël. Menu ready on the table (as we reserved on forehand). Few choices but... oooooh so gooooooood. Here we go: cocktail: mojito with fresas (please try the Mango as according to Joël that 's the best) amuse: small biscuit with persil, garlic and olive oil and one slice of cured ham main: Monkfish with pili pili sauce (we took the stronges pili pili and it was perfectly eatable), scallops and mussels with veggies as side dish (rice was the other option) dessert: Mango(like) icecream and lemon sorbet (with whipped cream) egg like fusion (with mango, chocolate, whipped cream and vanilla) coffee capuchino Tadaaaaa: all this for less than € 80 (2 servings). A must go when you are in Torrox! And a big thank you for the super service of Joël !"

"Delicious food in a beautiful Spanish village away from the hustle and bustle. The owner is very friendly, but does not speak English. His younger employees are, and just like the entire team, they are nice and helpful. The food is fantastic, the first time paella (on order), the second time tapas. "This has been a favourite of ours the best place in town for steak bar none but we were left disappointed. The food was good, but the pepper sauce for which you are charged an additional €2.50 was just like cream with a few pepper corns thrown in I'd have gotten more flavour out of a packet of instant pepper sauce from Mercadona! Plus the owners have crammed in more tables on the outside terrace. This fact resulted in my 90 year old mother having the metal bar from the chair behind rammed into her spine as the lady on the table behind got up to go the rest rooms. Previously there was much more space between tables."
