"Had a lovely dining experience here served by Quim. He was very helpful with the menu and gave good recommendations. We shared starters of Mushroom Sausage as well battered and deep fried Calcots with sauce along with typical tomato bread. I had the Hake Stew which had a very tasty sauce with peas, my husband had the House Steak Tartar which he enjoyed. I finished with the Mille-feuille with chocolate sauce and my husband the lemon icecream. Everything was well presented and delicious even the sangria and coffees. Would definitely recommend and be returning to try some other choices. Thank you all so much."

El Chato, es el típico restaurante familiar vasco atendido por sus dueños. Un lugar donde puede degustar los tradicionales Shee take con foie, alubias, morcilla con piquillos, kokotxas (y todos los pescados en general). La carta de vinos es recatada y los precios amigables.

Nice little restaurant, about a 15 min. walk from the Sagrada Familia, but outside the touristy area (and, therefore, not a tourist-trap). chato has been one of the best culinary experiences of my life, dishes, flavors, combinations, service. The potato cream with truffles and foie and steaktartar are highly recommended, which are dishes that transport you to another dimension. of the desserts the tiramisu, in my opinion of the best that I have tasted for its texture and flavor. One stays short for such a level site.

We came in almost by chance and went out more than happy we were with girls with soup and soup craving dinner, like that of Grandma! to the adults we were mimed in the same way, very personal attention , well presented and better elaborated dishes, the spectacular pots , the amazing steaktartartar, the best I have tried and so could follow with all the apotheosic dinner the dessert of turrón no doubt!
