"After being in the area, try similar and quality restaurants in case it had been a bad night feeling. I can't say that I enjoy the whole, the attention if it was 9 o'clock with the change of dishes and the theme to take enough with the bread while we had one of the dishes to untar. As for quality it is certainly 10 but my stars go more for the amounts/price. I found it expensive for the amount even assuming it is to share. you can see in the photos the size of the dish and quantity. rice at your point but €25 for the amount served seems expensive. And while I say I've waited to come back and try more places in the area to compare. if the establishment reads it I can tell you that srs in sharing menu of tasting 75€/p with 10 dishes and 3 desserts. generous amounts for the price paid for an example. I was happy if, but with feelings of little food for the paid price. so I have waited to get to know more in the area to write the review."

"Fuimos a este restaurante por recomendación de una persona local. Fuimos y repetimos. Aquí dejo fotos de las dos veces que comimos allí. De lo que pedimos: Pimientos de padrón: muy buenos nada grasientos Croquetas: maravillosas con una carne jugosa y llena de sabor Arroz negro seco: un espectáculo rico, arroz perfecto y un alioli fresco que era una maravilla mezclar. En la segunda ocasión comenzamos con unas patatas bravas, bien fritas y una salsa brava muy buena. Mejillones: porción muy generosa, pero siempre acaban apeteciendo más. "The creative gastronomic proposal is appreciated, and not eating the same dishes that you now find in any restaurant. However, there is too much pretension in the names and products. As for the price, you pay for the Peratallada concept and pretentious design kitchen, including an outrageous slice of bread at €3.5... The space is very nice and pleasant. Maybe the interior lacks a little lighting at night. Parking: Be careful not to end up with a fine, even if you park in a vacant lot. Look carefully at payment schedules. "We have visited Escalipatxo twice this summer and we were very pleased both times. This a very simple but nice place located in the main square of la Bisbal. The food is excellent and very reasonable. The first time we had home made nuggets for my son, an hamburger, a tomato salad (amazing) and some pasta with sea food, everything very nice. The second time we went on a Thursday where they have a menu at lunch time with paella for 15euros. Someone who knows la Bisbal and the area very well had strongly recommended the rice. And she was right. It was the best we had in the whole summer. It is a rice with both meat and fish, a bit stronger than the usual paella, but very tasty and really good. Amazing discovery. We will definitely be back, and if you decide to go I advise you to book in advance, particularly in the summer. Also, just in case you like live music, they organize concerts at lunch time many Saturdays during the summer. Kind of Hard rock music so if you don't like this avoid those Saturdays. But if you do, you cannot miss it. The whole square is dancing and the atmosphere (100% local) is quite unique."
