"We placed our order over the phone and were originally told it would be ready by 8:00pm. However, we received a call back informing us it would be ready by 8:15pm due to the size of our order (Meze for 4 with add-ons). Upon arrival, we ended up waiting over 30 minutes longer than expected, as the cook mentioned that four staff members had called in sick and he was working alone. Despite the long wait, there was no apology or gesture of goodwill offered. When we finally received our food, which was only a short distance away, it was mostly cold. The chips were undercooked and soggy, and the overall selection of food was disappointing considering the high price we paid (£90). The Kleftiko and Lamb Chops were decent, but the chicken and prawns were cold and dry. The small cubes of beef were cold and tough, and the pittas were not even warmed up. There was hardly any salad provided, but we were given two large portions of tasteless rice. The Tzatziki was good, but thankfully we ordered extra. Despite recommendations from friends, we were left unimpressed with our experience at Efes and will not be returning. We have found a better option just a mile away. Our disappointment was heightened by the lack of response to our messages."

The service may be slow, but it is always worth the wait at this restaurant. The Greek food is exceptional, and the Indian cuisine is excellent. If you're unsure, I recommend trying the Mezedes.

Decided to go here after walking past so many times. What a decision! Food was absolutely sensational. Chef has the flavours and seasoning off to a tea! Really well priced and will definitely be back!

Visited with family who hadnt been before. Ordered a mix of mezzes and steaks , all delicious , the food is always amazing here , especially the lamb . Can definitely recommend and look forward to our next visit .

We have never had a bad meal here. food is always perfect and the staff are really friendly and helpful. there's no rush to get you in and out like some places, you get to eat ate your pace, we often take the whole evening.

My spouse and I have frequented Efes numerous times, where we are always warmly greeted by the owner and his staff, making us feel like part of the family. The reason we keep coming back is the excellent quality of both the Greek and Indian cuisine. The ingredients are top-notch and the flavors are superb! The service is always outstanding. Although the dishes may take a bit longer to arrive, it's because everything is freshly prepared, and believe me, it's worth the wait. Visited on a Sunday evening with my family . I am the holder of a dine card , and before we ordered I asked if it was not accepted for any part of the menu ? He immediately led me away from the main menu onto a 'special set menu ' which he said was better value than using my card on the main menu ! The deal that he advertised on the site was '25% off the total bill ' so I asked him if I could use the card against extras (drinks/coffees etc) again he said no .
