"Visited here in Sept 23 for an executive dinner that we were hosting for various senior business leaders. We booked out the whole venue, which was the perfect size and atmosphere for the intimate and exclusive feel that we wanted, plus a convenient location. The TV that shows into the kitchen was fascinating, and the record player was put to use towards the end of the evening! Caroline from the venue helped us organise the event in advance and was great to deal with. We were fortunate with the weather so were able to enjoy a welcome drinks reception out the front of the venue, and have the door open all evening to let the balmy night in. We had the 7 course taster menu and it was simply OUTSTANDING so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was, particularly the beef steak course! It was so tasty that I even enjoyed the fish dish (not usual for me! . Service on the night was exemplary, the courses were brought out at just the right intervals so you weren't waiting ages but also not being rushed. The chef came out to greet us after the final course, which was a lovely touch and meant we could thank him. Overall, we had really great feedback from our guests, everyone loved it thank you for making our event such a success! We would definitely book again, and I know a few of our guests have already recommended it to their own companies for executive dinners! Would not hesitate to recommend."

"We had the Feast menu at Bank, and it was exceptional from beginning to end. At just £49 per person, it felt like an incredible value, especially considering the quality, portion sizes, and variety of dishes offered. The online photos truly don’t do it justice; everything looks and tastes even better in person. We kicked off our meal with the grilled Nocellara olives and Calabrian butter, accompanied by smoked nuts, pretzels, seeds, and crackers. It was a brilliant opener—rich and savory, yet light enough to set the perfect tone. The middle courses were outstanding. The violet artichokes with tomato and peanut sauce and green harissa were vibrant and incredibly flavorful. The barbecued tomato with crispy polenta and sundried XO was packed with layers of taste. A standout dish was the smoked pork belly paired with pickled watermelon salad and mission crab butter—smoky, tender pork complemented perfectly by the freshness of the salad. The sourdough focaccia with smoked garlic oil was not only delicious by itself but also ideal for mopping up that outstanding mission crab butter. The main course of landrace pork chop with miso mustard sauce was cooked to perfection—juicy, smoky, and flame-grilled, balanced beautifully in richness. The sides complemented the dish splendidly: French fries with black garlic amino butter were indulgently umami, while the baby gem salad with smoked garlic Caesar, parmesan, and croutons was fresh yet bold. Dessert was a knockout. The whipped Basque cheesecake with Sichuan strawberry and pretzel crunch was light, creamy, and flavorful, with the right amount of texture from the crunch. Each portion was generous, making it truly a “feast” menu rather than a tiny tasting menu. Every dish felt complete and satisfying, and the progression of flavors flowed beautifully from start to finish. Overall, the balance of flavors, the smoky, flame-grilled cooking, and the generous portions made this one of the best tasting menus I have experienced. For £49 per person, it is exceptional value. Bank is a must-visit; the flavors, the cooking, and the attention to detail create an unforgettable experience.
