This is a fantastic tea room! The sandwiches, scones, and cakes are all incredibly delicious. I highly recommend it. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Pink atmosphere in this tea room, with lovely staff. The flower arrangements, the tables, the whole decoration makes you feel like in a garden and is relaxing. I was unexpectedly taken to the restaurant with a friend, so I didn't have a chance to prepare. While there are vegan options available and possibly even a vegan afternoon tea, I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. During my visit in autumn 2021, the only thing the staff could offer was a folding jacket. I also found out that the hot chocolate isn’t vegan either.

I visited for afternoon tea and was informed that we needed to book in advance. However, the owner was incredibly gracious and allowed us to place an order. Everything was delicious, just as I had hoped. The sandwiches were fresh, the spinach tartlet was absolutely mouthwatering, and the scones were simply amazing. The Matcha Battenburg stood out as a delightful surprise. The lemon blondie and raspberry posset provided the perfect ending to our meal. The service was friendly throughout, making it a lovely little gem. If you’re ever in the area, this is a spot you won’t want to miss! Service: Dine in.

We celebrated my Nan’s 60th wedding anniversary, unfortunately my grandad passed away and so we went out to celebrate on his behalf. I told Dottys Tea House and they surprised me and my nan with a lovely glass of bubbly and a beautiful dessert with a written message. Such a gorgeous little touch and my nan was very tearful and grateful. On top of this, the food was absolutely wonderful, everything was fresh and we were so full, we came back with treats and finished it off in the evening. The tea was plentiful which was nice to see as usually you only get a cup of two in other places. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were brilliant.
