"This restaurant is a great choice for late night eats. My family and I found it by googling reviews for late night dining in Cardiff, and we were not disappointed. There was a manageable lineup outside, and we were able to place our order in under 10 minutes. Our youngest enjoyed the sausage and chips, our teenager had the chicken curry and chips, and my wife and I shared a large serving of freshly fried cod with chips and mushy peas. We decided to dine in, and while the dining area was basic, the food was excellent, especially for the price. The staff were hospitable, knowledgeable about allergies, and provided us with information about the 70 year history of the restaurant, especially Tanya who took great care of us. She checked in on us throughout our meal, ensuring everything was to our satisfaction. I highly recommend this spot for great food and service."

This is always my first choice if I crave some quick food on matchday. Staff are friendly and efficient, even on the busiest of days. Food always comes out quickly and tastes superb.

This restaurant serves amazing freshly cooked fish, but be prepared for a ten-minute wait as each piece is cooked to order. However, every second of the wait is worth it as the fish is top-notch. The staff is also very friendly.

Went in when just opened at 11am. Got the chicken curry chips for £7 to eat in. Excellent !! Loads of chicken in a flavoursome curry sauce. Fantastic value at just £7. Staff were ace. Very good value for money. Highly recommend.

Quite possibly the best chip shop I've ever been to! Their chips are great on their own but if you are fancying something more the chicken curry and chips is to die for. The chip shop has a small eat in area if you don't fancy take away, both are fantastic.

Hey guys JPfoodreviews here, this is my go to after a heavy session of tearing up the dance floor, the fish and chips here are great value for money and I always get some fish fingers, if you know what I mean ; , as soon as I step foot in to Dorothy I get an instant erection, overall all 10/10 would 100% recommend Many thanks JPfoodreviews

I had a fantastic shopping trip to cardiff with my sister. we spent several hours surfing all high street favorites like next, monsoon, primark, Pandora and boots before they visit the inside market. before we drove to the house, we came to dorothy’s on the caroline street to find our fellows. I ordered the chicken breeding and chips that were from this world. my sister ordered a jumbo battery with chips and gravy. she also took a sortiment of cake for her man and children to house. eating was hot and very cheap pissed. dorothy’s was immaculately clean and the staff was friendly
