"This restaurant is smart with quite a varied menu. I ordered a very nice gnocchi with a pumpkin and ricotta sauce. My wife ordered chicken and carrots, which was exactly that! The chicken was warm and carrots were cold. It's a shame as the place lacked any ambience as it's not on the cheaper end of the spectrum. We ate up and decided to ask for the bill. When the waiter brought it over he very firmly placed it telling me tips not included in the bill And just in case I didn't hear him the first time, he reiterated. I paid on a credit card at the table and he asked me if I wanted to put the tip on the card. By this time I definitely wasn't going to leave cash for him, so agreed. He then said how much I added 10% and gave him the figure, he completed the transaction then shot off and had an exchange of words with another waiter. No thank you/ see you again/ enjoy your holiday... We felt this place lacked customer service. We left feeling disappointed."

outside the concept of classic Neapolitan pizzeria, the medina trattoria offers in an ootimal way all the local specialties. buffalo, mari and monti appetizers, fried pizza, crocchettes are only examples. Of course, the classic Neapolitan pizza with buffalo and sna marzano or with friarelli. excellent choice of wines, honest prices, wide room.

Was taken here as part of our tour group's farewell dinner. They were told of my GF needs and my vegan friend, and they did not disappoint. We received special appetizers and delicious gluten free pizza for me, and a chocolate mousse dessert that was sinfully good. It was so yummy we went again the next day before leaving town for more pizza. Tons of choices and they cook the pizza in a pan in the wood oven so it still gets good and crisp with no cross contamination.
