"Driven past many times and always impressed by the numbers of customers. Today we sampled it for the first time at half past noon. No soggy precooked food on racks, freshly cooked for us in 10 minutes 2 meals, chicken fillet burger, regular sized fish and large portion of chips. My preferenc for fish is middle cut but only tail served. However the wide part of the large tail was thick and flaky like a middle cut. Very good. The chicken fillet was top quality and served with the option of salad and sauce (we had mayo) Lots of good quality chips."

Absolutely cracking place. Found it whilst camping nearby. Massive porttions and the fish are absolutely delicious. Will be calling in again next year!

Horrible dried up pie . Not fit for human consumption. Would not return . Also insisted on cash payment which was suprising in view of the current pandemic

If you happen to be in the vicinity of Doddington, you simply must visit this amazing fish and chip shop. The fish and chips are fantastic, and the portion size is very generous.

The fish and chip shop always serves generous portions of delicious food. I highly recommend it, as they also offer kebabs, burgers, and other menu items. Definitely worth a visit.

I've noticed that the prices at the fish and chip shop keep going up every time I visit. Paying £10.50 for what you receive feels like a rip-off. The portion of fish is small and there is too much batter. I do not plan on returning in the future.

Stopped for lunch whilst walking the dog from nearby campsite. The cod and chips were excellent, very fresh, not greasy and perfect. The staff were very friendly and brought water out for the dog. Highly recommended. We are back in May and a return visit will certainly take place (plaice)......
