"A very nice restaurant with a great atmopshere, staff and owner. The owner is very down-to-earth, modest, respectful and kind in nature. The food is top quality with plenty of flavour and taste. The spiciness ranging from hot to mild, depending on your palette. I would definitely recommend visiting here if you come around Ocean Road in South Shields. I appreciate the hosting of the meeting of my sister and future brother-in-law. The restaurant and owner did a very good job providing a very welcoming and endearing environment we all enjoyed being within. Definitely wouldn't mind coming again for future events and meetings."

What has happened, this place was gorgeous, now tikka masala tasted like a plain curry, and not red, the korma was not sweet and tastes of the base curry.

First visit in many years, and was not disappointed, superb meal with the family, and will definitely be back soon. Good to see draught Cobra on offer, plus a good selection of wines.

just had to leave a review. food was delivered hot and everything was beautiful. the mixed kebab especially was the best i’ve had. everything in it was juicy and cooked perfectly, no dry or overcooked food. very impressed. also the mint sauce should be sold in bottles.

I've tried many of the Ocean Road curry houses and to date have never had a bad one. Sadly that statistic is no longer true. Firstly the almost 3 hour delivery time was shocking. Very off tasting pieces of what was supposed to be chicken tikka. A mushroom pilau with about 2 flakes of mushroom. An almost stale and very dry naan bread. The oddest tasting CTM we've ever had. Half went in bin.
