"The food here was excellent. The starters were very tasty and the mains equally so. The dessert wasn't quite up to the same standard but still pretty decent. Unfortunately the service let the whole experience down. While seated quicky we had to ask for the bread that all other customers were served and the water which we had previously requested. All aspects of the service were very slow. Sometimes it is nice to be given some time between courses as in Edinburgh your often rushed. 3 hours before entering and leaving was just to much though. Would I go here again? Absolutely."

Stuck in Stornoway after finishing a job, I decided to have lunch at this restaurant, lured in by their two-course offer for just £16.95, which seemed very reasonable. looking for a place to eat in stornoway that was more beautiful than its standard fish and chips this place not disappointed. we visited Monday evening and were able to book the last table. beautiful service and nice eating. the cocktails were also a beautiful note! would recommend it to everyone to visit the island. we cannot wait to visit again!
