"My husband and I recently spent a weekend in Ruegen and decided to find a great restaurant close to this other touristy wine bar we stopped in while riding our rental bikes around town. Using the Near to Me feature on Trip Advisor, I discovered...La Stanza was very highly rated. As it was only 5:00 in the afternoon, we decided that maybe we could get lucky with a table here without a reservation. We are so glad we did. Our server was very friendly and helpful in recommending wines and antipasti. We shared some wine, a limoncello spritzer, and a plate of antipasti (cheese, prosciutto, salami, vegetables, etc and were blown away by how fresh and rich everything tasted. Some of the cheese was the best I've ever had. Although the appetizers probably would have been enough food on their own, we split a panini with cheese, tomato, arugula, and salami. It was fresh, warm, and delicious- probably the best panini I've ever had. I can definitely see why people like this place. If we are ever back in the area, we will make reservations and try this place again. It's definitely worth it, and not too pricy considering the quality and large portion size provided."

"we went here because it looked like a nice place to eat. the restaurant was fully booked, cliché, the owner has some covers of tables and found us a place to eat. Claus is the maitre’de, while his wife margarida, who is chief and...all manager of everything. only these two interact and serve customers is worth the price of the meal. eating was very good, a fish dish and the other meat. be patient, because the things are going slowly, but they are served. local people like to visit this place and they are the majority of customers. it is a small restaurant so that the tables fill out quickly. a reservation is a must if they plan to go here, unless, his magie can work and find a table for them. another note, they do not accept credit cards, only cash."

"We come to Baabe at least twice a year and always make reservations at Del Mare well in advance. The food is delicious and the female service is very friendly. On our last visit, some tables had a greeting from the kitchen, others didn't. The starter variation was always beautifully presented not this time. The salami shown on the menu was completely missing. Nevertheless, everything was delicious. Today we ordered 3 pizzas to pick up. Everything was finished on time. When I wanted to pre order a table, the waiter first went to the order book, then asked me to call with a “nudge” towards the door. I like the restaurant, but the service has definitely gone down considerably. It's a shame, because the taste is still good. I hope they just weren't such good days."

And the food looks really good and how it tastes: really good. This fine restaurant of the operator of the resort Odins Blick has recommended us. "Angelockt hat uns die Karte und der schöne Außenbereich unter Bäumen, der zweite Eindruck der Gasträume war ebenfalls sehr angenehmen, hier wurde mit Geschmack gemütlich dekoriert. Wir wählten von der Karte, die nicht nur die üblichen 08-15 Gerichte enthielt und darüber hinaus noch von aktuellen Tagesgerichten ergänzt wurde, das Wiener Schnitzel und die Ostseeflunder mit Bratkartoffeln. Der Beilagensalat wurde mit einem sehr leckeren Cranberry-Dressing auf Essig-Öl-Basis serviert. Ein Wiener Schnitzel außerhalb Bayerns, Österreichs oder eines 5*-Restaurants flößt mir grundsätzlich Angst ein. Daher musste der sehr freundliche Kellner einige konkrete Fragen nach der Dicke des Fleisches, der Art der Planierung und des verwendeten Bratfettes über sich ergehen lassen. Dies tat er mit viel Geduld und Freundlichkeit. So enttäuschten weder der Service noch das Essen. Wir kommen wieder!"
