eating is just normal. all products from beverages to appetizers as well as entrees are on the high end price range. only a good tasting mozarella piece euros. local bottle water liter euro. inside rather dark.

the Golden Hahn is a great place to spend an evening in Berlin. Top selection of authentic Italian food and drink with a really nice atmosphere to boot. The staff were friendly as well. Can't fault it, recommend!

the food was great, but the service did not make the night so great. the personal was slow and gave us little attention. we got to eat before they asked us for drinks (we had to ask ourselves, and the same was with dessert). Voir le carte

they serve a daily changing Italian menu, eating is always excellent! the place is very relaxed, welcoming and lively. it is better for dinner than for lunch and perfect for big groups. the prices are affordable and they only accept cash.

We were in Berlin for a few days and booked this restaurant on strength of Time Out review. And I’m so delighted we did! The food was amazing, the host gave us a fantastic wine recommendation and my vegetarian husband had plenty of choices. The...children loved it too. I’d highly recommend.

we had to wait minutes to get our drinks served – I don't blame the witness, only the restaurant needed to look at another waiter on the floor for the busy hours. eating is flat and boring, not a restaurant level...all my appetizer, main and next dish were absolutely unimaginable and too pan-oiled. although the inside,- atmosphere and music are great, they did not ate the paycheque. a bottle of wine, a starter and the main for two is about one Voir le carte

What a great food surprise! We made a reservation for people and chose the second menu; every meal delivered: antipasti (beef carpaccio, octopus carpaccio, siciliana caponata and spinach salad), then ricotta-filled ravioli and main courses (wild boar and fish). The dessert was...also a mix of for everyone to share. Everything was delicious and their wine list diverse The waiter (long grey hair in a pony tail) was also great and definitely improved an already great evening A must go for Italian food in Berlin

Myself and my partner went here last night whilst we visited Berlin. We went on a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing, especially the artichoke and the octopus starters! The mains and dessert were also great as was...the wine, which was reasonable priced and came recommended from our waiter. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, lit by candle light it is great for a romantic meal or a small group of friends. The service was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone living in or visiting Berlin!

Der Goldene Hahn has a website, but information about the menu is not consistent with what you actually can get. At the website is lookas like to have to choose from four different set menus, but in reality you have A La Carte with pasta dishes and mains. that you can combine at your liking. The food was very very tasty. Especially the pasta dish with seafood from Puglia was excellent. Wine card is extensive but only with wine at the expensive range. As a principle I always deduct one star in the review when a restaurant only serve imported water, in this case Pellegrino from Italy. Its is a scandal and a disgrace not to serve either tap water or locally produced water. Voir le carte
