"On Saturday, October 19th, I went to this restaurant for dinner for the third time. Because the previous two dining experiences were great, I ordered the lobster spaghetti again. But this time I was completely disappointed. The lobster tasted like rotten meat in my mouth. It was not solid and had no flavor of seafood. The shell of the lobster was black. I grew up eating seafood at the beach. How could you fool me? I was polite and lowered my volume (so as not to disturb other customers) and told the waiter, but the waiter's attitude was also very bad. He just told me rudely that if you don't feel good about it, don't eat it. I will definitely not go to this restaurant again."

Restaurant well located at the entrance to the village, perfect for enjoying the lake breeze to eat. The service is particularly friendly despite the language barrier. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed. Excellent margherita pizza! Voir le carte

I enjoyed lunch at the restaurant, though I wasn't staying at the hotel. I ordered rabbit meat, salad, and beer. The rabbit was delicious, but the salad was average. At noon, about one-third of the seats on the ground floor were occupied.

Wonderful hotel! We came straight to the hotel from a long hike. Very friendly welcome! Friendly service, they try very hard even if you don't speak the language. The wood-fired pizza was awesome! Excellent! Great ambience. We would love to visit again!

Great location. Food not so great. Unfortunately the gnocchi in tomato sauce and basil was the worst I've had. Boiled gnocchi mixed in with tinned tomatoes for 25francs!! Could have added some seasoning or even added some fresh chopped tomatoes into it. Expensive and underwhelming Voir le carte

We recently stayed in the Albergo-Ristorante della Posta hotel. Probably our favorite hotel/location on our two week journey. The town of Morcote (Switzerland) is so charming and this hotel has a perfect location on the lake. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The room was sufficient (nothing fancy) but clean and quiet! If you are looking for a quiet, charming, small village, this is a perfect choice. The restaurant attached to the hotel is wonderful as well. I highly recommend this hotel!

Fantastic!!! I booked a lakeview room with them and my stay has exceeded all expectations. The rooms are exactly as expected in the Albergo and the views were amazing, but it was the kind service of the staff that made this such a wonderful stay. No question was too much, always with a big smile and Italian warmth, from the owners to the waiters, everybody was so incredibly kind. I have traveled to many hotels, and maybe this has been my favorite one around the world? I will definitely visit again. Thank you.

"Me and my husband chose this restaurant to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We came all the way from USA and I can tell you this place didn't disappoint us. Very nice location, close to the lake and easy to find. We started our 5 course chef's tasting menu from appetizers by chef. It was mix of cheeses in different variations deep fried, cream cheese, cheese truffle and refreshing gazpacho soup. 1.Our first tasting dish were amberjack ceviche with fresh mint, peach and lemon sauce. It was absolutely delightful. 2.Then we had poached egg in creamy pea puree and shaved with Belèer Knolle cheese. It was also one of my favorite dishes because it was so creamy and egg was a great addition to this dish. Also there were Bona crumbles sweet to balance the pea puree. 3. Next Paccheridi Gragnano halves with oriental veal ragout. unfortunately this pasta wasn't my favorite. It was too al dente and I am not used to such a thick uncooked pasta. We ask waiter and he confirmed that's the way it should be. Also too much peanuts overwhelmed the sauce and it felt you are eating sneakers. But I absolutely loved veal ragout sauce, it was rich with flavors and very nicely done. 4.Then our next dish was Red Mediterranean tuna with charcoal, teriyaki mayonnaise, cucumber and puffed rice with seaweed. It was the best cooked tuna that I ever tried. It was so tender and melting on my tongue. 5. Next was perfectly cooked Duck with cherries. I absolutely loved duck, it was cooked to perfection!!! 6. Pre dessert strawberry basil puree to refresh tasting buds and prepare for the dessert. 7. Vanilla cheesecake with apricot and carrot sorbet with prune compote. 8. And complementary truffle selection from Chef to congratulate us with our anniversary. Absolutely best anniversary meal. I also loved that service here was very open and nice. It was my first Michelin star experience and I didn't felt any snobbism, like in other restaurants in Milan for example. Nice presentation, and all dishes were properly described in English for us which is additional plus since my husband doesn't speak Italian. Absolutely worth the trip!"
