delish Café Take-out

Wir haben Anfang März hier gefrühstückt. Große Auswahl an schmackhaften Müslis, Quiches, Brotsorten und Eierspeisen. Sehr freundlicher Service.

Bom lugar para tomar um café, comer uma salada ou quiche. Várias opções de salada cobrado por peso (€4,70 por 100gr). Os quiches são €7,00. Tem banheiro para os clientes.

Not an extensive selection but all the necessary options available served up with a smile Tried the croissants and shakshouka which was done with poached eggs - pretty good OJ was fresh and coffee was, well, delish..

Middle-eastern style salad buffet was good but pricey (4.90 CHF per 100g!). A bit too much for veggies... The place is quite small, but luckily quite empty when I arrived. The cinnamon roll that many people have been so ecstatic about was good, but not exceptional.

Fresh healthy food options are available here. There are lovely salads (eg fennel and orange, carrot and celeriac, sweet potato and cinnamon, rainbow slaw, cous cous with vegetables, tomato and a green salad), quiche, ragus, pulled pork rolls, cakes, tea and coffee.Interior and exterior seating is available.

They don't have a menu, what you see on show in the the cafe is what they have. This is how I was greeted when I visited. I had a pulled pork sandwich (15chf) and a cappuccino (5chf). The sandwich was ok, some pork but mainly coleslaw filling. The coffee was tiny for the price. Service wasn't great either. There is an outside seating area and lots of seating inside.

Wir hatten eine Tagessuppe und einen Teller vom Buffet. Abgerechnet wurde nach Gewicht. Womit es schnell teuer werden kann, wenn man nicht aufpasst.Die Suppe war sehr lecker und für 8CHF fair im Preis.Der Nachtisch, Pastel de Nata, waren auch lecker kamen aber nicht an das echte Rezept aus Portugal ran.Was mir besonders gefallen hat war die "No Waste" Idee mit halben Preisen nach 20 Uhr.

Des prix zurichois (26 francs un latte macchiato, une bière et une part de gâteau au chocolat) mais un endroit plutôt accueillant.Des livres sont à disposition des enfants, l'espace est suffisamment bien agencé pour ne pas avoir l'impression d'envahir les lieux en arrivant à 6 avec une poussette double, les parties communes sont classes et propres...Il ne manquait plus qu'une table à langer!

We were in Zurich on a national holiday and a lot of places were closed. We were so happy to find this place open. From the sign displaced on the outside, we were a bit nervous that this was a tourist trap catered toward the Americans but this was not the case at all. We had salmon sandwich and an assortment of cold salad dishes. Everything was tasty and we did not think the prices were unreasonable by Switzerland standard. The place was very clean and comfortable. The service was efficient and the ladies behind the counter were all very kind and friendly. There was a big tank of tap water for customers to help themselves; this was much appreciated as some places were charging people for tap...
