Meal and service excellent. Lewis our young waiter exceptional. He was very efficient and and polite, and chatty. Looked after us well.

Came for dinner on a Friday as we usually do. Young Lewis M was a new start on the bar and was more than helpful and friendly with us. Service with a smile and very polite.

Very good food, served quickly and efficiently. We were served by Lewis M, who made our evening very pleasant and professional. Thank you very much and we hope to visit you again.

Delicious food and really good service from hard working staff. Burgers were lovely and the steak was cooked to perfection. Diane was efficient and friendly and Claire always has time for a smile and a chat even when she’s really busy.

We were staying the Premier Inn next door and had dinner in this lovely restaurant. The Fish and Chips was excellent. Very fresh fish cooked perfectly in a lovely batter. For dessert we had Apple Betty which was absolutely delicious. Our waiter Lewis was delightful and made us feel very welcome.

Just had a nice evening meal, and was very impressed by the polite and attentive Staff, Louisa B, deserves credit for her sincere approach to her customers and being new in the section, she showed confidence, and asked her co-workers if she was unsure. I find it rare in hotel annex restaurants to experience staff manners such as these. Well Done Team!

Claire H was amazing. I was warned that they were short staffed as I was staying next door. At no point would you tell. Claire was on point from beginning to end and all in her stride. The food was very good. Not normally a fan of Beefeater and had a low expectation which was smashed. All staff and guests seemed to be having a lovely time and all added to a lovely evening. I will only return if on business, but some places, even in chains, are better than others.

Visited on Thursday evening with my partner. very pleased with the service we were provided. We came in as a walk in and was steamed Straight away. I ordered the Mix Grill and my partner ordered the sirloin steak. Both came perfectly cooked and was so filling. Our server Lewis M was just new but was great at explaining how the menu worked and was so helpful and pleasant the whole time we were there. He is a great new addition to the team and we will defiantly be back.

Always excellent food and service,been here several times and all meals have been great.Had steak sizzler with 3 steaks, all were perfect and cooked to my liking. Next day I had lasagne, the best I ever had. The desserts are basic and not much choice, but all restaurants have had to cut the menu down. The staff are always very good and will go the extra mile to please customers.Our waiter Lewis, was new, he was very polite and helpful. He was very attentive and did a first class job, and another asset to add to the great team of staff and fabulous chefs. Cannot wait to go again.
