Great day that began with a hearty breakfast followed by a days quality fishing

as always a welcome stop after a few miles in the saddle. on a sunny day on the terrace overlooking the lake, buttie tee sublime!

Lovely bank holiday weekend spent here! My partner and I stayed in the “Esmerelda Shepherds Hut”. Caught some nice fish and we’d definitely be coming again!

We speant the week staying in their holiday lodge, and the whole experience was lovely! Fishing was great, owners are lovely and the breakfast in the tea room was delicious! We will definitely be back!

we visited today for the first time as a family to fish. from arriving we were met with a friendly greeting and given all the help we needed. a really good days fishing. never felt to busy. big plus point was the toilets that are a proper set of toilets not portaloos. we will definitely be back again soon.

we visited dandy’s ford again, the tea room days are now limited, but the quality is unchanged they could not ask for more}, the accommodation in the lodge is of excellent quality, the environment is beautiful and the owners are fabulous, very friendly, and...helpful, the fishing is fantastic, can not wait to return.
