If you like indian curry dishes - you should try this place in Kiel. We had the traditional checken curry and Tandorri chicken - and the dishes were excellent presented and very tasty. We can only recommend this place if you like a good curry

Went there with 10 friends. Actually because we read about Curryhouse here on TA. The cousine here is really fantastic and service likewise. On top of that the price i also fair. I tasted a few of my friends food and it is quite empressing the way the work with spices like cinnamon, so I have to give them full house for the overall experience

I have eaten in some restaurants with specialties from India before. I would say that the food in this particular restaurant tasted the best of all of them. The salad was very nice and fresh. The bread also. The main course I took was chicken lemon and it was extraordinary! Each bite was a pleasant surprise. The waiters were kind and the food was served with no delay. A great place to eat!

I've been eating curry for the best part of 50 years - this was one of the best indian meals i've had and one of the best meals in any restaurant. The food was cooked for each of the four us exactly as each individual had requested. (I like very hot and spicy whereas my wife likes the indian spice but can't stand any heat). The ambience was great - Om treated all of his guests like friends and spent time with them without imposing. Service was excellent and the price great.

I'll start with the food, that basically what we look for in a restaurant, isn't it ;)I like to think myself as a good Indian food appreciator, and in this restaurant you can find a very good and authentic food from India.As for the space, it's not as Indian as the food. Don't get me wrong, the space is pleasant, low light type, but it has little related to India. If the ambience would be more "Indian" I would consider the highest rating.In the end, don't hesitate if you like Indian food.

Dinner on a Saturday night with my husband, the atmosphere is nice, a younger crowd, nice clean decor, and the staff were kind and informative.The food was sooo fresh tasting and delicious!! You could really taste the fresh herbs and vegetables in the meal-impressive. Only thing I can complain (not even) about is that I asked for hot (not burn your eyelashes off is all...) and yet not even a drop of sweat on my face...We will definitely be back soon, and hopefully will need a fire extinguisher!!-highly recommended!!

The food here was quite good and very nicely seasoned. I'm not sure how the waiter did it but he arranged for there to be just the perfect amount of 'heat' i.e. spice in our meals (mine was a bit hotter than my wife's). This meant we could taste all the various delicious flavours without having our lips burned off or being bored by bland food. I guess this must be a testament to the skill of the chef and/or the quality of the ingredients. The menu is rather simple and some of the things I assumed would be on it e.g. nan and some side dishes were absent.
