"Invented in 1949 as a snack for the new post-war working class that needed carbohydrates and fats to lift the new Germany, quickly became a popular meal and was one of the first types of fast food that were known. It consists of a fried sausage or plate cut into small pieces accompanied by a powdered tomato sauce with curry and many fries. It can be ordered with or without skin and is usually served on a paper plate with a plastic fork. It can be found all over Berlin, but the most famous are certainly those of this small restaurant that is little more than bars that give to the street and tables on the sidewalk, without chairs. The waiters attend quickly and diligently and on the bar are the different types of sausages that serve, a wide variety of sauces and other meals of the same kind, such as hot dogs or burgers. Fame has made them raise their prices a little, but it is still worth trying them out."

The main vegan item is the vegan curry wurst, which takes 5 minutes to prepare since they don’t have them premade. Not bad for 2.80 euro. Fast food style you take it to go or eat it outside.

there are vegan currywursts and vegan currybulettes with pommes or crumbs. the vegan products have their own map and are therefore clearly recognizable. there is always a lot more annoying, but they are served quickly. the vegan curry tastes very good and the pommes were also great.

Some of Berlin's best-known quick-food dishes are currywurst, a sausage stumbled and packed into a ketchup and curry-based sauce. There are many places and places all over the city, but the best is Curry 36. It's so famous, they even sell their own sauce. Besides, the price will surprise you. We, in the two days we were, fell twice in their nets.

came here at 1 o'clock. friendly service and good selection for vegan vegetarians. they made fresh so that wait a little longer than others, but only about 5 minutes. I have the spicy curry sausage with chips. they gave us ketchup and vegan mayo. Although they said it was spicy, I could not taste much more than ketchup, as there was a lot of sauce.

I couldn't leave Berlin without trying a Currywurst. Unfortunately vegan ones were few and far between. I was happy to finally find curry 36 after a friend recommended it. The sausage was lovely and juicy, the chips were standard chips. But the tomato ketchup was too salty and hard to avoid as it was slathered all over the chips sausage. Would visit again

currywurst is the typical food in Berlin and is nothing but a sausage, ketchup and curry. We caught it in vegan version in curry 36 and it was very good! first vegan sausage we tested, with rich texture. currywurst is the typical food in berlin and is nothing but a sausage, ketchup and curry. we caught this vegan version in curry 36 and it was very good! first vegan sausage we tried with delicious texture and flavor.

I was so happy to have a vegan authentic currywurst option in Berlin. I’m German and I loved Currywurst before going plant based. I was so looking for to this especially being in Berlin. Unfortunately neither the sausage nor the sauce was anything like the real deal. The sauce was the most sad! Just ketchup with some curry powder. The service was hectic and very unfriendly we got a belittling smile and were told to wait longer for our extra wish. I can easily make an epic vegan Currywurst at home that’s so much better, but I thought once I’m in Berlin I try the real deal. Very disappointed
