"Starter portions fairly small. Mushrooms were tasty but 'only ' 2 each!? The Chateau-Briand for two was very good but the sauces were tame and small in size as were the portions of sauteed potatoes. The chicken was fairly mundane. Overall the service was reasonably attentive but spoiled by having to ask for a coffee refill of a small cup which appeared frowned upon. Overall, a little old fashioned, unchanged in years perhaps. It could do with some updating and focus on improving value for money, such as increased portion sizes."

Very friendly run family restaurant with a nice range on choice on the menu. Décor takes me back to how steak houses used to be adding to its charm. With it being a special occasion the staff looked after us very well and even supplied a slice of cake for the birthday girl. Many thanks to the lady who looked after us and making the occasion so special.
