This is outrageous! The Calamari Prawns were the worst I have ever tasted. For £8, you can find much better options. Fortunately, they had nuts at the bar, which helped make up for the disappointing dish.

Five out of five stars. The roast dinner was lovely, with delicious food and extra gravy and Yorkshire Pudding provided upon request. Nichola provided amazing service, was very engaging, and enhanced our dining experience.

Really great place to go for lunch, plenty of options to choose from and the food was great! Service was amazing, staff were really welcoming and attentive, Sophie was lovely! Would really recommend here and will definitely be back!

We had a nice dinner on Sunday afternoon. The roast and fish and chips were good. We also liked the service Heather was very kind to provide us with a table (we were with a dog, no booking) and give some additional colouring sheets for our daughter.

We were staying at the hotel across the road so popped in for a drink on a Friday and ended up staying for hours. Then went back on the Saturday. Friendly staff, nice customers, really nice looking place too with outside space and heaters. Didn't eat but the menu looked nice.

Had a belated Mothers Day lunch here. Whilst the restaurant was quiet (it was a Monday) there was a warm atmosphere within the whole pub and restaurant area. We were served by Heather who was superb. A lovely friendly and helpful lady who served us with a huge smile and positive attitude.

in the crown crooked billet people can eat honestly and enjoy a typical pub environment where you can relax and celebrate with friends. I was there by chance and had the cake of the fischer. a well served main course was presented. a cake with kartoffels, white fish and salmon, a well seasoned creamy sauce with some aromatic crumbs. it had baby carrots and green beans on the side. I really enjoyed it and when I come back to woodford, london, I will definitely go back there!

Visited on the Saturday just gone, popped in on our way home from seeing family for some lunch! Didn’t expect much, but my experience was so outstanding it compelled me to write this review. The young girl at the bar (I think her name was Sophie? Long brunette hair) was especially friendly and kind hearted, taking her time with us and even remembering our drink orders when coming back for a second! Hygiene standards were fantastic, and the atmosphere there is welcoming and special. Will be back again, best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Thank you to Sophie and the rest of the team!

During my visit to Crown Crooked Billet, I was treated to a culinary experience like no other. The Hunter's Chicken and Fish and Chips were outstanding, with each bite leaving me wanting more. The Hunter's Chicken was tender and full of flavor, while the Fish and Chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside – a true classic done right! The desserts were also fantastic, each bite a delightful mix of flavors that made me eager to try them all. The kitchen manager's exceptional talent and attentiveness contributed greatly to the overall wonderful experience at Crown Crooked Billet.
