"One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a restaurant… EVER! We arrived looking for a spot of lunch whilst on a girls weekend away. Firstly when we entered the atmosphere was horrendous, several tables eating, but it was silent in there. We were greet by a very young lad, he was friendly and asked what we would like. Due to the atmosphere we weren’t sure if to stay or not so we asked for some more time to check out the menu. We could overhear the staff chatting about us, quite loudly as it was so quiet in there, 2 minutes later an older lady came to the table and asked what we wanted, again we asked for some more time, to which she dramatically rolled her eyes, tutted shrugging her shoulders an walked off. At that point we decided we would not be staying, I believe the lady was the joint owner, but how on earth they have any returning customers with that type of customer service is beyond me."

Passed this place for years and finally called today on our way home from a small holiday . Was ok, basic food so if you want anything fancy keep driving to Betws.

This was a must for Breakfast before our ROSPA RIde out. Cooked and Served personally by the owners and cooked fresh to order with an extensive menu. Lovely Coffee see you again. Martin Ainsworth ROSPA)

This restaurant is one of the worst I have ever been to. The food is definitely not homemade, it tastes like frozen food and microwaved meals. I would advise you to keep driving past and not bother stopping here. I would rather go hungry than ever eat here again. Additionally, the staff are also very rude.

I went for lunch today and found that the restaurant was empty and had a terrible atmosphere. The older staff were very rude. The food seemed to be microwaved and not fresh, likely coming from a freezer. I felt uncomfortable and felt judged by the staff. I would recommend passing this restaurant and continuing on.

What a lovely find. Needed somewhere to stop for an early dinner while travelling. Lots of choice on the Menu at reasonable prices. Meals arrived quickly, were huge and were delicious. We were served by a young lady who couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Prompt and efficient serice. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

The salads at this restaurant are excellent, the service is fast, and I would highly recommend it. We visited twice while in the area and had a great experience both times. The staff is young but very polite. Although we didn't make much progress in conversation, we can't find any faults with the restaurant. The pancakes are a must-try!

Such a shame as we came here on Google recommendation. When I arrived a lovely young lad greeted me and sat me down. The atmosphere however could be cut with a knife, despite there being many customers the noise level was so low you could hear a pin drop. When the rest of my party joined me we did consider leaving due to this strange atmosphere but decided to stay as potentially the food was going to be worth it. At that point the young lad came back to ask for our order and we asked for a little bit more time. Within a few minutes a lady came back and asked what we would like to order.
