The restaurant offers delicious salads and a fantastic winter soup. It is self-service, and the staff is friendly and helpful in guiding customers on what to do.

I loved this place. The food was amazing, maybe the lime juice was a bit to much but otherwise perfect. The staff with a smile all the time. The interior is also really good and hip. Very East London!

You will have the perfect mornig if you start with breakfast at albion. The muesli options are almost endless, the chocolate croissant to die for, you will enjoy tasty hot drinks and very friendly staff.

Came here just as meeting point and for some drinks. The place is very nice with a mix of a supermarket and coffee place feeling. I have to admit that the service was quite odd...Also he snack boards were a bit dull and overpriced...

We visited for breakfast and enjoyed a selection of self-serve muesli/granola with various toppings, as well as the option of porridge or scrambled eggs with toast. The price was very reasonable at £6 per person. The cappuccinos were delicious as well.

Went to Albion for an afternoon coffee and had to wait 15 minutes for two coffees! When we got them they were weak, lukewarm and the mocha had lots of chocolate powder stuck at the bottom! Been here before and it was fine but it just wasn't up to scratch today.

I went over for a coffee and cakes with friends, we have been surprised to be welcomed by all the members of the staff. The counter service is making you feel at home and the place is nice and cosy. We finally stayed for lunch and had a really good pea soup.I definitely recommend that place for a nice meeting with friends.Special mention for the Barista, best flat white I had in a long time!Will definitely be back.

After walking Bricklane and through much of Shoreditch we were in need of a sunny spot for afternoon tea and a treat. And we found the perfect place. This little cafe was full of natural light and yummy treats. I had the BEST Mille Fueille or Custard slice I have ever had. The custard in the centre was flecked with real vanilla bean and the pastry was flaky and soon yummy. The tea was good too. My friend and I spent an hour knitting and snacking sipping quite happily. the staff were great!

I go the the Counter Albion every day, either for coffee, for a healthy breakfast, or for a calm candlelit wine cheese dinner. I love it. You will be amazed by the variety of hot and cold drinks available, delighted by the freshness and tastiness of the food, and warmly welcomed by the charming and ever smiling French staff.The lovely Aurélie, the amusing bow-tied Sam, and the handsome Reda, are always happy, and are definitely the best to brighten up any of the too many gloomy days we have in London.I can't wait for the big bench to be back outside, so I can enjoy my coffee cigarette, when Spring will be back...
