Cote Brasserie Bishops Stortford

Stopped for dinner on way to Stansted Airport and was really good. Pasta good, calzone very good, service was a little slow but they were busy.

After a few below par visits recently, it's nice to see that they're back to top tier ways. Nice food. Nice service. Could have been faster, but with minimal staff, it's to be expected Voir le carte

starters and mains were decent, however one of the desserts was served with gross, brown bananas, one of which had a hair underneath so it was not eaten. really unhappy with this, unlikely to return.

Asked if we could sit at the round table. Couldn’t sit there b cause it seated 6.? No one else in restaurant. Rude waitress made us sit in other place. (In a total empty place). Food arrived. Pizza not homemade. Lasagne Ok. Chicken ok . Toilets broken, couldn’t flush. Dirty. Not money we’ll spent.

To be honest , only went to use up some Tesco vouchers . I really would avoid this place . The food came up so quick it must just be thrown on the plate and microwaved . The waitress could not of been more miserable if she tried . I would rather not eat out than go here again . A miserable experience . Voir le carte

booked here at short notice due to the original restaurants from many articles. so glad to come here, prezzos visited in newmarket last night.) this restaurant employs for us a party of 12 three tables pushed together. set for 12 but only 11 seats crushed an additional seat at the end. would have been nice if another table added, what with kovid. the service was very good, efficient and friendly, the server ran due to personal deficiency. eating different dishes was an expected no problems all looked good and tasted great.

The waiter at the beginning was lovely. The food was great. But after the food we were served by a lady. Honestly she was extremely rude. We were trying to pay, and being patient with ourselves, and the lady was giving us dirty looks and not being patient, shook her finger in our face, wasn't trying to help and when she got fed up with us she just left to serve another table whilst we were still trying to pay. Never offered alternative ways to pay whilst we were struggling to pay because her card machine wasn't working, wouldn't let us pay in cash and other another customer also suggested there was something wrong with the machine but shut us down.

A spur of the moment decision to eat here after a terrific day out. We ordered Crab and Lobster Ravioli, Calzone and Spaghetti Carbonara. These all came to the table within 10 mins which felt very quick. The ravioli looked nothing like the pic on the menu. It had 4 pieces of pasta a few small warm tomatoes and a little sauce. Basically the portion of a small starter and they were charging £18. I had two bites of the calzone and had to push it away. The chicken inside tasted processed and everything felt a little raw. I’m not one for turning away food but I could not eat this. The carbonara was a huge pile of pasta with some ham pieces and not much sauce so it was very dry. Apparently my daug... Voir le carte
